For sale is my 1993 Mazda MX-5 Miata . It currently has 53, 000 miles on it. It runs good. It is in good shape with no rust. It is a "C" package car. I have owned the car for the last 5 years. It has the following aftermarket parts all of which were installed before I purchased the car. Jackson Racing air intake Front Shock tower brace, it has a carbon fiber look Turn signal air intakes seat belt tower brace, it is my understanding that these did not become standard until 1994. I have installed an upgraded stereo and all new speakers. The A/C has been converted to r134a and blows cold, all fluids have been changed and only the best was used. Motorcraft synthetic trans fluid in the trans and shifter turret ( as recommended by Miata.net), Mobile 1 oil in the rear end, and synthetic motor oil in the engine. The clutch master, and slave cylinders have been replaced along with using a 949 racing steel braided clutch line. The wheels are TR Motorsports CM1 with Dunlop direzza 195/50/15 tires. Rims and tires are 3 years old and have approximately 4k miles on them plenty of life left. This car is being sold as-is, there are no warranties or guarantees with this car. This car is also being sold where-is, the buyer would be responsible for picking the car up, if you are reasonably close we can work something out. Up for sale is a freshly built Monster Miata. Car was purchased stock August 2014 in Tampa FL. September was when the build process began. Working the car on weekends and any other days possible. The car was primarily finished up in March 2015 with additional changes to the wheels, brakes, and fender flares since. The car was built using a kit with the addition of power steering and drive shaft sourced from Monster Miata. Engine and transmission came from 1994 Mustang GT but had to utilize a 1993 Mustang intake and accessories. I tried keeping cost low with a budget in mind when rebuilding the engine using rockauto for minor consumable materials Ex: spark plugs, plug wires, distributor, gaskets, hoses, belts, starter, alternator, ect... But at times couldn't resist and spent money where needed on the car Ex: Hard top, Wilwood front brake kit, 949 rear brake kit, Eibach sway bar kit, polyurethane bushings, blistien shocks and tires. Just finished plumbing and charging the A/C and works great! car is set up on coilovers right now but also have the MM spring set up on Koni adjustable shocks that will be included. Fender flares were purchased from Autokonexion. They arrived in black gel coat and I just sprayed them with black satin plastidip so you can just peel it and have them prepped and painting if so choosing. Listed below is everything that was purchased via rockauto, summit racing, autozone, salvage yards and craigslist. After everything still spent over $20K not including MISC parts, nuts, bolts, wiring and labor costs and time invested. The Bad:1) Speedometer - The transmission speedo gear is incorrect, reads faster than It is. The trans is an 8 tooth drive gear. The rear wheel and tire size 245/45r16 with the rear gear ratio of 3.27's require a speedo gear of 21.4 tooth and currently installed is a 20 tooth. you can install a 21 tooth gear that'll help, but the speedometer will still be off. you can play with other rear gear ratios and tires sizes I just particularly enjoyed this set up and use my GPS as a speedometer. 2) Dark current - Some where on the car is still pulling power even with car off, draining the battery. Looked into it briefly and noticed a major portion was from the radio. So I added 4 rocker switches under the radio, one for the fuel pump and one for the stereo, other two on the far right are unused. Its helped, but there's still a light power drain still there, haven't had enough time to trouble shoot it any further, so I just disconnect the battery for anything overnight.3) The cruise control - Still needs to be adjusted, never bothered to do it when the car got finished. Just to eager to drive!4) Emissions - No catalytic converters or resonators installed. If you live in an emissions controlled state, it will be your responsibility to comply with.5) Heat shielding - No heat shielding was added inside or out. Could use some around the trans tunnel, gets warm after about 25-30min of driving. Thanks for looking. It had 15,000 miles on it. It was in perfect condition. If you know the 1994 Miata, when taken care of it will last for several hundred thousand miles. It now has 105,000 miles and is in perfect condition. It has received every possible service and treatment and has always been garage kept. At the time of purchase, the Miata was black. It is now Emerald Green with sparkling Mica. My plan was to create a unique and beautiful show car: a one-of-a-kind. When you see it you will agree it is all of these. When you open the hood, you will see that every part of the engine has been chromed. You will enjoy the 2-tone matching leather, wood trim throughout, the stereo system with 6-CD changer, 12 speakers, and AMP, yellow gauges, dual exhausts, and custom wheels. This Miata has been my pride and joy. As soon as I purchased it I began a process of mechanical upgrades, almost every one available from the aftermarket Miata company. I joined a Miata club and got even more ideas for upgrades. For example, the oil filter was relocated to the top of the engine and an oil cooler was installed in front of the radiator. I have always used the highest octane gasoline and the best synthetic oil. When I retired at the end of 1998 and moved to Florida I found an outstanding body shop. Working closely with them we converted the Miata into a sculpture in metal, which includes the installation of Ford Mustang rear fender scoops, BMW Z3 front fender louvers, hood louvers, and Honda Gold Wing rear view mirrors with amber LED turn signals. It has VW Beetle back-up lights, and properly proportioned Ferrari-type round LED tail lights in place of the stock tail lights, and a custom wing with a Cadillac de Ville upper brake light. The pop-up head lights were replaced with proportioned Ferrari-type headlights. Everything was done in the most tasteful way. You need to see the Miata as the photos and list of enhancements and upgrades don't do it justice. The two competitions that I entered the Miata in, I won both in my category.
