1994 Original Right Hand Drive Mazda Rx-7 imported from Japan and currently registered in the state of California still current through July 2017 and has been registered in the US for the past 9 years. Driven probably about once every couple of months.. As you can see from the pictures, great condition no surprises, the car was rebuilt from the ground up after I imported it so everything is like new with a few light scratches being the only evidence that the car is ever driven. No door dings but some rock chips on front bumper. Nothing major. See below a complete parts list. Remember, the vehicle history report does not belong to this car. The factory VIN is only 10 digits and E-bay would not take only 10 but 17. So it is the VIN from my other 3rd gen RX7 that is in storage. You are bidding on an immaculate, garage-kept (non-smoker) 1994 Mazda RX-7 that I purchased off the showroom floor of my local Mazda dealership. It has never been wrecked and has the original Montego paint and complete factory interior. The windshield and transmission have been replaced and are new from Mazda. Modifications and tuning performed by Rotary Performance in Garland, TX. The engine was rebuilt in 2003 and has approx. 5k miles of both street and track time. Power to the rear wheels was measured at 416hp and the best quarter-mile time clocked in at 11.2 @ 121mph. Maintenance and repairs have been performed at MZM Performance in Austin, TX. Feel free to contact either shop for feedback on the vehicle or worked performed. The most recent compression test performed in 2014 produced readings in the mid-upper 6s for both rotors. Therefore, if this car is to be operated under high boost, it is recommended the engine be rebuilt to replace the aging apex seals and springs. All parts checked out operational but as is the system cannot be rechargedCruise control is inoperable due to single-turbo conversionOdometer display is out but can be easily repaired if you are handy with electronics Fasten Seat Belt warning light continually flashes when seat sensors are connectedIgnition switch can take a few attempts to engage the starter due to battery relocationKaaz rear-end makes a clicking sound when performing slow turns. It's time to sell this incredible car. I'm getting older and it's time to pass on to someone that will use it. It is a 1994 Mazda RX-7 RX7 Touring edition. Only 42 of these were made. Runs and drives flawlessly. Engine was rebuilt by Mazda at 42,000 miles. Garage kept. Many options such as leather, cruise control, moonroof, rear/front spoilers, rear window wiper, RX7 floormats, mud guards, scratch protection on the sides, chrome door sills, engine sound insulation, Bose stereo......probably more options that I'm not thinking of. Non stock options are halo headlights, 17"OZ rims, adjustable suspension, Viper Alarm system. Flaws : CD player doesn't read CD's, antenna motor works but doesn't go up and down (looks better down anyway), small crack on lower left part of windshield, when it get real hot outside the idle gauge will flutter, but the engine still purrs perfectly. Feel free to ask questions. I also have books/brochures, extra keys, custom car cover and other thing I'll send with the car. You'll have to arrange a car pickup company if you can't pick it up in person. If you are looking for a rare, exotic, and Iconic Japanese sports car with enough power to scare you senseless, you've found your match. For those who are unfamiliar with the 3-Rotor, this is an entirely different animal from the 13b (OEM RX7 engine). Up for Sale is a 1994 Mazda RX7 Fd3s R2 edition. Its red. Its an r2. and its from 1994. VERY rare and very collectable and very valuable. The car runs and drives perfectly, and gets stared at everywhere I go. Easily one of the nicest rx7s in Oregon. Over $20,000 has been invested into this car to make it reliable and the way it came off the day it was made. Perfect collector car. The car has dealer plates because I took the pictures when I bought it from a dealer and got really good shots of it. That was about 800 Miles ago, so the car is in the exact same condition. This is for one of the best Mazda RX7's for sale. I'll do my best to describe it. It is a 1994 Mazda RX7 Touring. The color is Brilliant Black with Tan interior. Automatic transmission. Less than 80,000 miles on the chassis but just over 20,000 miles on rebuilt motor by Mazda. The car runs and drives perfectly. Exterior has just minor small rock chips/imperfections. Up for auction is my latest build, a 1994 Mazda RX7 with a turbocharged LS based drive train. The car has been on the road in it's current form for about 60 days now and has 2000 plus shakedown miles on it. Overall it's a great driver that will sit in Los Angeles traffic without a hiccup. It is also easily the quickest and fastest car I have ever built or driven. This thing requires all your attention under boost, both hands on the wheel and remember to breathe. I started with a sort of half finished project I purchased off an RX7 swap forum. The guy I bought it from spent six years on the project and spared no expense when it came to buying parts. Unfortunately it still required a ton of work when I got it the more I looked the more issues I found. When I realized the motor had to come back out I went a little crazy and ended up with this monster. The motor is an LS2 from an early 2005 GTO. This means it is an aluminum block 6.0 with the 24x reluctor wheel (uses a drive by cable throttle body and 0411 PCM) To this I added a set of GMPP/Katech ported LS3 heads, these flow 360 CFM. I also added an LS9 camshaft, ARP head bolts, MLS head gaskets, and good valve springs (130 on the seat 330 open). I also opened the ring gaps to .023 for boost. The previous owner claimed this motor had 5000-ish miles on it and after opening it up I agree. There's no varnish anywhere. Pistons, rods and crank are stock and this motor came with the much better Gen 4 rods. It has a factory LS7 clutch setup as well and the T56 6 speed is also from a GTO. The transmission is stock with the exception of a Steeda Tri Ax shifter. I used a stock LS3 intake manifold with a 90mm Edelbrock throttle body. The fuel system starts with a CJ Motorsports hanger in the tank running dual Bosch 044 fuel pumps, there's a -8 feed to the Holley fuel rails. I used 80 pound Seimens Deka injectors and an Aermotive fuel pressure regulator that returns to the tank with a -6 line. Engine management is handled using the stock 0411 PCM but I changed to an LS3/LS7 slot style MAF and the LS3 MAP. I also tucked the engine wiring harness when it all went back together. The turbo setup is all custom made in house, it's centered around a Borg Warner Airwerks series S471. This turbo feartures a 71mm compresor and an 84mm turbine, it has a T4 flange with a true twin scroll exhaust housing. I used C6 Corvette manifolds heavily modified for this application and the up pipes are 2" to help spool. There's a pair of 38mm Tial MV-S waste gates to control boost and a matching 50mm Tial blow off valve. The downpipe is 4" out of the turbo and reduces to 3.5" almost immediately. The 3.5" runs almost all the way back and necks down again to meet the aftermarket 3" exhaust that came with the car. There's an air to air intercooler and the entire charge side is done in aluminum. The stock rear differential was replaced with an 8.8 center section from a 2003 Cobra, it has new 3.27 gears and a new posi unit. It's held in place with a cradle from Samberg and there's custom CV axles from the Drive Shaft Shop. The driveshaft is also a DSS item and very nicely made as well. I added K Sport coil overs and a set of Enkei NT03 wheels (18 x 9 &18 x 11). The rear tires are Nitto NT05's and the fronts are Goodyear Eagles. I also added a set of Wilwood front brakes, these are the floating 13" rotors with six piston billet calipers. I removed the stock ABS system and there's a Mazda 929 master cylinder as well. The rest of the suspension is all new with derelin bushings everywhere, gigantic sway bars front and rear with adjustable end links, it also has adjustable rear links from Improved Racing. The rest of the car is pretty nice, it's a non-sunroof model (R1? Not sure...). I had my guys do a quicky paint job on it a few months back, it's shot in two stage but the paint has shrunk up a bit and it could use another color sand & buff. There's a few very minor chips here and there and there's a dent in the hood where the previous owner shut the hood on the throttle body.The seats are suede R1 seats, the steering wheel is from Momo. The dash is very nice and uncut, I did install some Autometer gauges (mechanical water temp, vacuum/boost and analog AFR). I made my own pod mount that fits in the stock middle speaker opening which could easily be removed or changed, I did not modify the actual dash and I do have a new from Mazda speaker grill. The interior is missing the kick panels, the upper steering column cover and the tool box & jack covers in the rear. The stock speedometer is not hooked up but I do have the Dakota Digital adapter box that will go with the car. The stock temp gauge does not work but all the others do although the oil pressure gauge is not accurate. There is power steering but no A/C, I did not hook up the heater box but everything is there and all it needs is a couple fittings and some hose. The horn does not work. The rear wiper does not work but I don't think that hatch is original to this car. Everything else works and this car has been my daily driver for the last couple of months. Over all the car is well sorted and crazy fast. On the dyno I saw 500-ish at the tire on 10 pounds of boost at about 4800 rpm but I had an issue with spark blowout. I fixed that and now it pulls to the limiter (6300) but I have not taken it back to the dyno to verify power. My local track will not let me run the car without a roll bar so I can't offer any timeslips. My butt dyno says it's an easy 9 second car, it will spin the tire hard from a roll in second gear and wag the tail pretty good in third. It does hook at the top of third gear and it pulls very, very hard. It weighs 2800-ish with me in it and is making at least 650 at the tire. There is virtually no turbo lag, it starts making actual boost at 2000 rpm and is on the wastegate spring by 3500. The heads/cam combo comes on at 3900 rpm so when it hits it hits hard. This is a great opportunity to buy a well sorted swapped RX7. I own and operate a full service hot rod and restoration shop, this car is built with the attention to detail that we give all our client cars. It still needs some finishing touches and there's always room to make even more power with a set of good rods and pistons. ALL THE COMPONENTS WERE REPLACED WITH HERTZ SPEAKERS. THE HEADUNIT IS A PIONEER DOUBLE DIN TOUCHSCREEN WITH PANDORA INTERFACE RUN INTO THE JDM CONSOLE. I HAVE THE FACTORY PARTS INCLUDING WHEELS/TIRES, EXHAUST, SUSPENSION ETC. THE WHEELS COULD USE SOME REFINISHING. I USED THEM FOR AUTOCROSS A FEW TIMES. I PLASTIDIPPED THEM HOT PINK AND WHILE TAKING THE PLASTIDIP OFF IT TOOK OFF SOME FACTORY PAINT. A FEW OTHER THINGS THAT ARE NOTEWORTHY THE INTERIOR ORIGINALLY WAS TAN, I HAD THE SEATS REDONE IN BLACK AND AT THAT TIME ADDED THE SEAT HEATERS. THEY LOOK FACTORY AND YOU PROBABLY WOULDN’T NOTICE UNLESS I TOLD YOU. HOWEVER, SOME OF THE TAN PLASTIC PIECES WERE DYED BLACK AND NEED TO BE TOUCHED UP FROM TIME TO TIME TO BE PERFECT. A DISCONNECTED THE POWER ANTENNA BECAUSE I NEVER LISTENED TO TERRESTRIAL RADIO IN THE CAR. EVEN WHEN THE RADIO WAS PLAYING A CD OR PANDORA THE ANTENNA WOULD BE UP. I BOUGHT THE “CONSERVATIVE” OFFSET AND SIZE WHEELS AS TO NOT RUB AND BE SET AT THE OPTIMUM HANDLING HEIGHT. THE TIRES ARE SQUARELY ON THE GROUND AND BECAUSE THE CAR IS 20 YEARS OLD WITH 20 YEAR OLD PAINT, I LEFT THE FENDERS ALONE MEANING I DID NOT ROLL THE FENDERS. I WAS JUST TOO AFRAID I WOULD RUIN SOMETHING. THAT’S JUST HOW ANAL I AM ABOUT THE CAR. ONE DAY ON THE WAY TO WORK (DARK THIRTY), I HIT A LITTLE 6 OR 8” WATER METER COVER IN THE ROAD WITH THE BOTTOM OF MY CAR. IT DAMAGED A FACTORY BRACE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CAR. I BOUGHT ONE ON EBAY AND HAD IT REPAIRED PROFESSIONALLY. AGAIN, PROBABLY WOULD NEVER KNOW BUT I BELIEVE IN FULL DISCLOSURE. I THINK THE SUNROOF SWITCH NEEDS THE CONTACT CLEANED FOR THE OPEN POSITION. IT WORKS BUT YOU HAVE TO MASH IT PRETTY HARD SOMETIMES. CLOSING WORKS NORMAL. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND A LOCAL EXPERT (MIKE WIGGINS FROM RX7 HEAVEN) TO GET A PPI DONE. NEITHER COULD FIND ANYTHING AT ALL WRONG WITH THE CAR. THE DEALERSHIP CHECKED COMPRESSION AND BOTH ROTORS WERE IN THE NORMAN RANGE. I had bought this with the intention of driving it until my other CW car was done a ground up build, but I got lazy and went out an bought a c6z, so I'm considering selling the rx7's. It's a white/tan 94, glass sunroof car w/ bose system. Very lightly modded, from what the previous long term owner said, the car was never modded past where it is now! This car was originally an auto, however it was swapped by PFS, the swap is flawless! This car also recieved a reman motor, also done by PFS, though I don't recall the mileage at when the reman went in. The only mods this car has, are a PFS radiator, Aluminum AST, Downpipe (main cat in place) and PFS Exhaust! The car drives beautifully, I took it on a near 300 mile drive last weekend and it didn't blink. Since I have got it all I have done is fix the small issues the car had. Here is a breakdown of what I have done recently! Added missing rubber shifter cover boot Replaced missing Bose trim rings in the rear deck Installed new brembo rotors and hawk HPS pads Replaced gas cap and broken retainer Replaced rear wiper cap Replaced drivers headlight motor assembly New OEM Hood Release cable and latch Had a full paint correct and wax done with a ton of high end products (took the detailer half a day) Replaced wiper mast Replaced rusted wiper arms The bad: Car's paint looks great after the correction, but it has it's share of dings and dents, small paint chips etc. I'd rate the body at about a 7/10. The seats have been dyed a darker tan, not my taste, but the rest of the interior is fantastic! It has a new 93 map pocket and lid! Passenger handle is in tact! There is a loud clunking in the rear when getting on and off the throttle, I believe it's diff bushings, I am including brand new delrin bushings with the car! Car has one odd tire for some reason, never bothered me! Car has an intermittent cel within 10 minutes or so of being started, I believe it is something emissions related.
