The car has been in my possession for approximately 1000 miles. I don't ever drive it so am looking to free up my garage. I love the car and don't want to sell it but it's not practical. The damage from when it was salvage was from a previous owner and has all been replaced. The picture of the paint scuff on the corner of the bumper was from the previous owner. Looks like he just backed in to something. It does need a new ECM which I found several places online that do repair and rebuilds on those for a little under $300. It idles around 1400-1600 rpm now. The car is clean, well maintained and runs great.

A Wonderful example of a 1995 Jaguar XJS COUPE in remarkable condition with the very reliable 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine, not the troublesome 12 cylinder engine.It is the classic Jaguar color combination in British Racing Green with contrasting tan leather interior . The paint is in a beautiful in its Original British Racing Green and it is in absolutely beautiful condition with only minor door dings, minimal scratches that can all be taken care of .The rear bumper has light scuffs from the parking garage and the front bottom of the bumper like many XJS has no cracks or damage.From the closing of the hood it has some scratches but the paint but it can be touched up. The leather is tan and is still very soft and supple with the only minimal wear on the drivers seat bolster and has also had a new headliner put in .Inside you get the wonderful aroma of wood and leather and the wood is very nice with no cracking and the carpets are also very clean.The trunk has the factory 6 disc cd changer, full size spare manuals and and tools . Mechanically it runs and runs and drives perfectly with only 80k documented original miles the engine compartment is very nice and has no leaks.There are no warning lights on and everything works including all gauges, heat and very cold A/C, and all windows,seats,keyless entry door locks and all electrics work as they should.It has full set of Pirelli's with nice tread and the car stops on a dime and is very quiet comfortable and quiet on the road.The car gets amazing gas mileage recently completing a 7 hour trip with almost a 3/4 tank left. This was originally from California so it has never seen salt or rust and it has always been garaged and sparingly used. I know all of the history in the car and it will come with the original keys,books/manuals and all service history available from the shop that did all the work to the car.The car is all original except for the K&N air filter and removal of the resonators giving it a wonderful throatier sound .I am having to downsize due to storage so some of my cars must go and I would love this car to go to a great home for someone to enjoy. This car is a 2ond place winner in the 2015 championship class with most noted flaws (small cosmetic in nature mostly the engine bay) already corrected. Ready to win in 2016. Beautiful color combo with flawless paint and interior! The car as two very small hairline cracks developing on the center ski slope wood, otherwise the wood is like new. I have an extra ski sloop if wanted. The original skip sloop can be repaired "like new" with a color match with the existing wood for a modest sum. I have done this on the other older jags I have owned. Please note the championship class has much more stringent requirements than the driver class most cars are judged by. The championship class judges cars against the condition they were in when the left the showroom. There are plenty of cheap jags out there that will cost you a lot of money sorting the many problems out. Not this XJS, everything works like new and it looks like new. When I purchased this car last March locally in Sarasota it was in exceptional condition owned by an elderly lady living on Longboat Key who put less then 300 miles on the car the last 6 years. I knew the Jaguar mechanic who serviced the car and he told me the car was going on the market. After I purchased the car I had him fully service the car spending about $2,600 mostly on items needing attention from the last several years of limited use. Since March I have driven the car less then 1,000 miles and it sits covered in storage. I have owned 5 XJS's - two V12's and three straight 6's. The 6 cylinders are much better cars and cost significantly less to operate and to service. They also have about the same level of acceleration and power output. I am very annal about my cars both the appearance and operation condition and it will show on this car.I have 4 older jags plus three everyday cars so I need to reduce the number of cars I own. I only have a three car garage and storage is getting expensive.
