Up for sale a 1995 3000GT base model, the body is solid no rust at all, I doubt it's beeb driven in the snow, 5 speed manual 3.0 dohc engine, it has a two tone paint job gloss black/gun metal grey, front bumper body kit some front damage to it, rear carbon fiber wing/spoiler, 18x8.5 wheels with wide sports tires 80% or more tread on all five wheels , all five wheels match with wheel locks, front and rear disk brake.I am selling it for parts or for repair because the fuel pump or a the injectors went out and I don't want to haul it with me the engine cranks but not enough fuel is getting in there it wants to start though, it has the original rebuilt engine, complete new timing belt kit, new main and connecting rod bearings, new starter and alternator, new ngk v-power spark plugs, fresh oil change before the pump went out, the clutch was inspected and is still good. I have spent tons of time and money on this project and I won't have a place to store it during the winter so it has to go, this car is well worth fixing.I am asking $1000 or a reasonable offer cash in person

Last owner replaced timing belt with "Gates" belt. Repainted black.. It's not a high end paint job but still protects the car. (last owner) The key lock on driver door needs to be replaced. Headlight covers were painted (previous owner) so I took them off. The SRS light is on. This I guess is very common with these as car is running great and it has no effect on it. There is a boost gauge in the glove compartment but I do not believe it is active. Car has a blow off valve. (last owner) I have two sets of stock keys and one remote clicker. Car has aftermarket Turbo-back exhaust. Meaning NO CATALYTIC CONVERTERS. ( It is currently paid non op, only for smog reasons NO CATS, a BOV, and intake, car runs great) I repeat car runs good and strong. This is actually only reason for sale! I realize this is great and awesome for some but a bummer for others ( I live in CA and this is the reason and ONLY reason for sale!) This auction is for a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT base model with only 75560 miles on the odometer. This vehicle has been in the same family since it was purchased new. My mother bought the car in 1995, and I took charge of it last year after she was no longer able to drive. Now it’s time to pass it along. The car is exceptionally clean inside and out for a 20 year old car. Though it was in Pennsylvania for the first 19 years, it was always garaged and never driven in the winter (and if you’re familiar with east coast road salt, you know how important this is). Engine: Starts great, runs great. It’s due for a timing belt (60,000 miles was recommended). I put a new slave cylinder in the clutch six months ago, and haven’t driven it since, except for backing it in and out of the garage a few miles times. After having it put in, I noticed the clutch slip a little at speed a few times. Not sure of this is everything just getting worn back in or if it is an indicator that it will need a clutch down the road. Exterior: The body and paint are in unbelievably good shape overall. There are no door dings. A few issues: The spoiler is somewhat sun-faded. My plan, if I kept it, was to use Liquid Glass polymer coat on it to try to resurrect it. If not, the spoiler could be removed and sent to a body shop for re-painting. The clear-coat is peeling slightly on the passenger side plastic headlight housing (a common problem on these cars). There are several headlight polishing kits available, as well as numerous on-line tutorials that deal with this problem. The power antenna quit working about six months ago. I can hear the electric motor whirring, but it won’t extend or retract (I think the rubber/plastic drive belt broke). Wheels/Tires: No pitting on the wheels. Tires have maybe 5,000 miles on them. Interior: Pretty much like new, except for the floor mats. No rips in the seat upholstery, carpet, etc. Nice, cold air conditioning. A few issues: The shift boot pleather is starting to flake. The Infinity sound system (w/cassette deck!) isn’t currently working because of the power antenna issue (addressed above). For some reason, the antenna not going up prevents the radio from coming on. And one of the back floor mats is missing. I have most, if not all, of the receipts and paperwork from the car and what work was done on it over the last twenty years.

This car is super rare, it's 1 of only 6 ever produced in the Martinique Yellow Pearl color with the SL Spyder convertible package with retractable Hard top, not a soft top. It's stunning. Has Ivory Leather interior. Only 1,034 Spyder convertibles were offered for sale in 2 year run of 1995 & 96. There were only 19 yellow Spyders ever made...13 in the VR4 trim and only 6 in the SL trim.
