1995 Saturn SL 2 4 Door Automatic Car For Sale... we are the second OWNERS, bought used back in 1999 at Liberty Lincoln Mercury ~ we have had it for 16 years. It is a 4 door comes with lots of options & has been a VERY dependable car. The inside is clean, the seats are leather, but the driver & passenger seats are worn (leather torn, exposed foam) which is why I have two brand new seat covers on them. Never garaged and unfortunately that is why the leather did not hold up as well - the back seat is still good with some very minor wear. The floor mats are the originals, driver's side floor mat is worn, others look very nice. The outside paint still looks great, a few small dings, mainly to the hood - which have been touched up. The spoiler's clear coat is worn off, but you really can't notice. It has never been in a wreck. Selling because we are downsizing vehicles. Has 181,233 miles, automatic transmission, A/C - does not work - may be a minor fix - not sure - we just roll the windows down. Has power windows and locks, tape player with radio. Has a power sunroof, but we have had trouble with it closing - so we do not use it anymore - you can still open the slide cover to let light in. It does burn some oil, I check it about every 500 miles and add 1/2 quart to a full quart of oil. I have been using it to drive back and forth to work and it has been a terrific car. I have the owner's manual & all repair/maintenance information. It has always had a regular oil change & been well maintained. Up for sale is my 1995 saturn.I purchased the car from my father in law in 2006 with approx 35,000 miles on it.He was the original owner.At that time i had to replace the transmission.The years following the car was used by my daughter until approx 2013.I used the car a few days per week for commuting to NYC.The vehicle has been well maintained at all times.We joke around about how we can use the saturn to pick up our expensive cars for service or when they break down.This car will never let you down.Always starts up!!great heat and cold a/c. Recent repairs over the past 2 1/2 years were.Replaced full exhaust system from exhaust manifold to rear muffler,installed new alt and battery with serpentine belt. Replaced radiator,thermostat,fan shroud and transmission cooling lines and rear brake adjustment. As you can see in the pictures.The rear window had a leak that damaged the headliner.I had safelite repair the leak but just tapped up the headliner. the price is $1,995.00.I will accept cash bank check or pay pal. ONE OWNER - NEVER BEEN WRECKED Recently done a 100.000 mile service repair about 200 miles back. Engine was running and idling good. It quit one morning after it idled for a couple minutes. We suspission the starter has locked up when trying to restart the engine. The starter has never been rplaced since we purchased it brand new back in March of 1995. We had just put on a new Timing Cover, Alternator, Radiator, Hoses, changed the oil, new antifreeze. Fuel tank has 3/4 tank of gas. We had plans on putting on a new Tail Pipe, Muffler, all new Brakes, Tires. We had plans this fall in putting in a new Clutch and Throw Out Bearing. But since my grandson has passed away our plans have changed. We no longer need a fourth viehicle. We could part it out for more than $1.600 or find someone else that might be able to get some good use from repairing this car or whom has the time and place to part it out. You are looking at a 1995 Saturn SL2 Twin Cam that has 40, 078 miles. The gold exterior on this sedan is in very decent shape. There is some spots of paint peel and paint scrape on the front bumper and back bumper but nothing major. This vehicle starts up and drives with no problem. The tan interior of this sedan is in very good shape. No rips or tears and the floor carpet is in good condition too. The ABS light is on in this vehicle. We haven't diagnosed why. The windows and locks are manual and the AC needs to be recharged. The radio/cassette player is functional. The 1.9L I4 motor starts right up. This 1995 Saturn SL2 Twin Cam will make a great economical opportunity to buy a nice vehicle at a decent price.
