I'm selling my 1994 black mr2 Turbo. It is loaded and has every option for the year. Car is from Texas so no rust and clean underbody etc. The interior is one of the cleanest you will ever find for a mr2 that is 20 yrs old. Many new parts.... New shift boot, new Floormats,full-tune up with all new ignition stuff,cap,rotor,plug wires,spark plugs and front tires all brand new. Brand new 20% window tint. T-tops seals are good and NO LEAKS (yes rare also I know) seats have not one tear in them and they are original. Modifications: ct20b turbo(spools way faster than stock turbo and pulls to the redline matched up to 3inch downpipe) motor runs great with no issues. Also has new light flywheel with heavy duty street clutch with only 6000 miles on it. The two-piece 17inch wheels by kinetic where 2300 dollars without tires and I just fitted some brandnew TRD center caps on them to dress them up a bit more. I just put brandnew foglamps and also new 255 Walbro fuel pump in So it can handle bigger injectors and bigger turbo down the road. Has a fully done Stereo system with two amps and 2 bazooka subs behind the seats with ipod/iPhone hook up. I put a lot of money into this car to get is super nice and get compliments on it ALL the time and people randomly taking pics of it. I'm only selling cause I want V8 m3 competition package. If I could afford to have the mr2 and the M3 I would for sure but I don't have that luxury at this point to do so. I sold a black 1995 mr2 turbo with 111k on it for $16,500 two years ago so I know what the last 2 production years of these cars bring money wise so please do not waste time trying to lowball me as this is my 7th mr2 turbo over the years and know the market well;) I want close to my asking price. After a five-year hiatus, the new MR2 Spyder marked the return of the mid-engine sports car to Toyota's line-up. VVTI DOHC ENGINE The Toyota vehicle has been fitted with a 1.8-litre double overhead cam (DOHC) 16-valve four-cylinder engine with a VVT-I (Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence) system. After a five-year hiatus, the new MR2 Spyder marked the return of the mid-engine sports car to Toyota's line-up. VVTI DOHC ENGINE The Toyota vehicle has been fitted with a 1.8-litre double overhead cam (DOHC) 16-valve four-cylinder engine with a VVT-I (Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence) system. This produces 138bhp at 6,400rpm. It also sustains a torque of 125ft-lbs at 4,400rpm. The VVT-I system is used to improve fuel economy and engine performance as well as reduce exhaust emissions. This system controls the intake camshaft valve timing so as to obtain a balance between engine output, fuel consumption and emission control performance. By varying the cam timing, and thus the valve overlap, the engine can run more cleanly at low revs, boost its torque in the middle and still manage powerful high-rev performance. The engine is positioned near the centre of the chassis. This has the effect of of lowering the centre of gravity, thus improving the handling of the vehicle when cornering at high speed. The vehicle uses a mid-engine drivetrain with rear-wheel drive and five-speed manual transmission. POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO The new development focused on designing a pure sports car. This first meant that the car had to be light and so a curb weight of 2,195lbs was achieved. From this point, the company was able to focus on power to weight ratio, which would determine the speed and performance of the vehicle. The lighter the car, the better the power to weight ratio will be for a given engine. As car engines are an expensive part of the overall package, lightness has significant benefits. MR2 SUSPENSION Handling is further improved with the car's specifically designed suspension system. This includes a front independent MacPherson strut and rear independent dual-link MacPherson strut, with damper struts, lower control arms, coil springs and anti-roll bars. Steering is aided using a rack-and-pinion with electro-hydraulic power-assist, which enables a turning circle of 17.4 feet. ABS BRAKES The vehicle is light but also capable of reaching high speeds. The emphasis was therefore on developing an effective braking system, and the vehicle was fitted with power-assisted ventilated disc brakes with anti-lock brake system (ABS). For maximum grip, the vehicle was fitted with P185/55R15 at the front and P205/50R15 at the back. Brake testing showed that the vehicle could achieve 70–0 mph in 3.26s and a distance of 166.7ft. Fuel consumption in urban areas averages 25mpg, while on the motorway the average consumption rises over 30mpg. It would be a long journey for the Roberts Family before they would end up at their current location in Columbia, TN. Starting in 1945; Mr. Clyde Roberts began the family business by opening a Mobil Service Station & Garage with his sons Lyndal and Bay on the corner of West Commerce and Third Avenue in Lewisburg, TN (shown below).   Shortly after the opening of the garage, Lyndal left the business to pursue other ventures.
