1996 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD LIMO For sale is the 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood shown. This Limo was built by Chicago Armor and Limousine. It's powered by the venerable 350 LT-1 V8 and an overdrive automatic transmission. This was a corporate owned limo that was used primarily to drive the CEO from company headquarters in Dothan Alabama to his yacht located in Panama City Beach Florida. The president bought the limo brand new in 1997 when he was 80 years old! He used it until his passing about 10 years ago. His daughter put the limo in storage in 2005 where it saw very little use. She finally decided to sell it and I bought it. After having some maintenance done I drove the Fleetwood from Alabama to Wisconsin. It's a great car. The Fleetwood is my favorite Cadillac and being a '96 model, you avoid all the issues with the Northstar engine. Plenty of power and still gets 20mpg on the highway!The Fleetwood starts easy, runs and drives great. Overall cosmetic condition is excellent as shown by the photos. Body is straight and the paint still has its original shine. It was stored indoors until I bought it. I think the pictures speak for the condition of the car. Being from the south, it does not have rust like you'd find on a northern car. Being a privately owned limo you do not get the heavy use and hours you might find on a "for hire" vehicle. I did notice a few things that could be improved on. The battery needs to be jumped if it sits longer than a few days and should be replaced. The driver's window needs assistance going back up so it needs the guide (Dorman 74444) that costs just a few bucks. The stereo works but the power antenna is not going up. It has a full size spare, but it's not in good shape. There is a small strip of vinyl missing from behind the driver's seat. The right front headlight is cracked, but has clear tape over it to protect it from the elements. The privacy sliding glass works well but rubs a bit. It has front and rear AC. The rear blows cool but the front does not. NO check or service engine lights are present.The Limo is equipped with an intercom system, privacy glass, front and read air/heat, power locks, power windows, stereo front and rear, television, cell phone, mood lights, passenger heat/air, privacy, stereo and other controls. I have driven the Cadillac over 1000 miles and you can drive it anywhere you'd like. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By bidding on this item, you are agreeing to the following terms. Time is of the essence.
