The XJS first appeared in the Jaguar lineup as a '76 model and underwent several facelifts before discontinuing in 1996 to be replaced by the XK8. The XJS was the premium luxury grand tourer which replaced the legendary XKE. This ultra-premium example is a 1989 model with the top of the line 5.3 Liter fuel injected V12 engine. This smooth running V12 is rated at 273 horsepower at 5,250 rpms with gobs of torque to boot. The power is fantastic but the best thing about this car is the build quality. Raise the automatic top and the latches line up perfectly and lock crisply into place. The leather is soft, yet sturdy, and the upholstery on the convertible top is beautifully done. Of course, this one has all the goodies: Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, automatic convertible, power windows, power seats, heated seats, power locks, telescopic wheel, leather seats, and the list goes on and on.
