NOTE: I had a question from a interested buyer about the the odo reading on 01/06/2006 of 146,000 miles which was done at an Emission Station. The service writer apparently made a mistake on the repair order, and inputting it into the system, and therefore it stayed in the history. The other thing is that it is practically impossible to drive 120,000 miles in two years unless you are an UBER driver. From 2003 to 2005 no UBER yet! Selling a green 1996 Jeep Cherokee. This Jeep has seen better days, but it runs and the 4wd works great. The mileage is 179147 miles. Brand new battery. Minor transmission issues in that it runs and changes gears, but it stays in a gear for awhile and sometimes needs to be manually switched. There are other minor issues such as a minor leak and cosmetic issues, fuel gauge doesn't function, no stereo due to theft, u-joint issues, etc. I can't think of anything else, but it does run and was our major source of transportation for a number of years. Only reason selling it is that we purchased a newer vehicle and no longer need this one. I'm not sure how many owners before us, but we've had it now for around 6 and a half years. Only selling locally in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Michigan area. Looking for $1000 but will consider reasonable best offers.

Used it on my mail route from March 2008 to July 2010; then our facility got USPS mail trucks for every route. Thereafter, I used it no more than 20 times to deliver mail. Transmission was replaced in 2013. This Jeep has been used around town on a continuous basis, has received regular maintenance and remains in very good condition.
