This was being built to be a show car by the original owner. The car had 6 miles on it when he picked it up, he drove it 39 miles to his home, and that is when the work started. The car was up on jack stands for sixteen years, and i bought it right off the jack stands, it had 45 miles on it. Today it has 65 original miles on it. I have driven the other 20 miles. The car is resto-moded, not all original. The car is lowered with Eibach springs, Denko frame connected, Granitelli sway bars, torque arm, and lower control arms on rear. JBA stainless headers, flowmaster muffler, and Gibson stainless exhaust tips. No catalytic converters, and computer re-chipped. 350 LT-1 and a 6 speed stick shift and factory ram air. It has 18 inch wheels on front and 19 inch wheels on back, nitto tires 275 on front, and 295 on back. All windows are etched. I have owners manual, window sticker, and factory build sheet. This car smells so new, it makes the garage smell like a new car! I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Either you're so mad at the product or the seller you write a scathing report or you're so enthralled 2 days after you buy you gush with enthusiasm. I started looking for a Corvette in October of 2013 all over the Midwest and D & M Motorsports was just one of the dealers I pestered for 4 months, in those months I met with Angie and Dave checking out the cars I previously viewed and all their new arrivals. At no time was I pressured to purchase and every meeting was cordial and all my questions were answered no matter how long it took. In February 2014 they got in the car I wanted and I made an offer they agreed too and with the contingency I could have the car checked out. Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. 1996 Pontiac Firebird TRANS AM CONVERTIBLE AUTO (10k miles on NEW 5.7L engine!) A Must See TRANS AM CONVERTIBLE at well below market price! In 2011 the engine was replaced with a new LT1 285HP rebuild from LKQ, which has what remains (est. 90k) of a 100k mile warranty. It looks and drives like a factory showroom model and gets decent gas mileage when desired. Fully loaded with all the goodies, this '96 has the true dual catalytic back exhaust, is equipped with OBDII and traction control. Well maintained and INCLUDES a current California Smog Certificate, issued March 2, 2014. Mostly highway miles, Driven less than 3500 miles a year since the new motor was installed. The Trans AM is in very good to excellent condition. It is lowered, with Koni Yellow Sports up front, stiffer street-sport springs all around and Bilstein B6 (HD) shocks in the back. The car handles GREAT and packs real muscle. Never seen snow, non-smoker, very clean interior. Seats are like new, no accidents, custom wheels and title in hand. The tires are good, the paint is good but has a few rough spots on the pliable front/rear bumper covers (mostly from parking too close). The running components are all strong, solid auto transmission, no squeaks or noises from the drive train, no oil leaks, good brakes, the limited slip is solid, the dual exhaust is great. The convertible top is in good condition, rear window is new. A couple of door lock switches are on the fritz (but they work perfectly with the key fob), power windows and power top work great. The factory stereo works (full steering wheel controls) but the speakers distort easily. The air conditioning works when charged but has a leak and needs service. I honestly  haven't owned this too long. When my son and I saw it with a FOR SALE sign on the side of a backwoods road in (Boring, Oregon) we just had to stop out of curiosity. Expecting to see an automatic, our jaws dropped when we saw that it was a 4-SPEED. I personally haven't seen one probably since the 80's. I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT! I would love to restore it, but just don't have the time. Not a money issue, but just a time issue is all. Anyways, I could keep going on and on listing things about it but you really must see it to appreciate just how nice it is. Miles: Odometer shows 19,125 "works," but most likely 119,000 VIN #: 2U87T3N141865 Engine: Not original matching numbers. Has a slightly built Chevy 350 small block. Runs and drives, (see YouTube video link.) Transmission: 4-SPEED manual (Shifts great through all 4 gears and not sloppy at all.) Drivetrains: RWD Exterior: Black, needs paint. One dent on front fender, but not too bad. Has extremely small amount of rust. Interior: Grey carpet and the rest of the interior is black. Carpet and seats are new. Personally, I'd rather have black carpet. EVERYTHING works as it should! Every single light in and out works great. 4x4 works great. Hot heat & Cold AC works awesome. All gauges work as they should. I could not find ANYTHING that does not work properly. The paint is a 9.9 out of 10 and is in amazing condition for a 2004. My brother just had the exterior and interior professionally detailed recently. The interior is very clean and looks nice. The tires have a lot of tread left. There is no check engine lights, no leaks, and no wierd sounds in the drivetrain. The suspension is very comfortable and smooth when "LandCruising" this vehicle. The brakes stop this Toyota hard and straight. The ONLY thing I can personally nitpick on this SUV is maybe a few imperfections in the paint/body from being driven, but NOTHING that you wouldnt expect.
