Hello, Up for sale is my 1998 4runner Limited 4wd with rear locker, 234500 miles and counting, matching VIN# on all Panels, I have never had an accident in the vehicle and it showed no accidents on the report when I first got it. 9000 BTU External Transmission cooler installed to prevent 4runner pink milkshake issues, this has to be one of the most important upgrades a 4runner/Tacoma or a Tundra with automatic Transmission can receive, the problem lies in the fact that Transmission fluid is cooled in the bottom part of the radiator in a very small OEM cooler; over the years a minor or major crack will mix the ATF fluid and the antifreeze causing something called the "Pink Milkshake" effectively killing the tranny. There is an immense amount of information on this issue on the internet/forums, just google "Toyota Pink Milkshake", I have bypassed the radiator completely. If you buy any 4runner, Tacoma or Tundra please do read up on it, I had a co-worker with a Tundra that was quoted at $1800 from the dealership for repair. Toyota Tundra 199mm S13WE Calipers with Toyota Tundra OEM Rotors and Pads installed. It is generally agreed on the forums that 4runner brakes were too small for the vehicle, many people experienced premature rotors warpage on 1996-2002 4Runners needing frequent brake work. The beefier Tundra rotors dissipate heat much more efficiently, do not warp and will save money in the long run. I have firsthand experienced the added safety benefits of stronger brakes. (You will need 2000-2004 Tundra pads n rotors in the future or they will not fit)....This upgrade costs $400 in parts alone. Since I never wheeled and needed to use the elocker before, I have been taking it at the gravel road on Abbots Bridge Road Chattahoochee Recreation Area and exercising it. I made a short video clip of it working (06-25-2015) but it can be tested upon final agreement of sale. Toyota OEM Fuel Filter changed at 230000 Sunroof motor works great and there are no leaks, Ice cold AC, also Rain guards installed on all four windows. Bilstein Shocks with Performance Parts 109922 F2 Coils all around, raising the truck app 1" (Over $600 in parts alone for this upgrade) New Driver side Lower Ball Joint, Upper Ball Joint, Axels, MOOG front sway bar links with grease fittings, receipt will be provided 5k Mobile 1 and K&N replacements (I can print my K&N filter purchases from my Amazon account, Mobile 1 is always purchased at Walmart) Timing Belt, water pump, pulleys, tensioner, belts done at 224,000 miles with all OEM parts kit, flushed with distilled water twice and filled with Red Toyota coolant, all documented via pictures, also listed as a thread on t4r.org forums The kit was purchased at Amazon for $298, receipt will be provided and I still have all the packages of the parts Starter was rebuilt with Toyota OEM contact parts, the plunger was bought at Nations Alternator, done at 234,000 miles (pics available) New Valvoline brake fluid with Speed Bleeders installed (you will get the oem ones also) 2" Receiver Hitch in Front & Back (Warn 33025 bolt on in front, listed for 189 on $Amazon) Almost new BFG Rugged Terrain LT265/75/16 Tires, these tires are approximately $800 new New Interstate Battery from Costco App. $100 Blue LED Swap in dash lights, Parking lever (you will get the original bulbs) Lucas Synthetic Differential and Transfer case fluids done at 200,000, with Toyota OEM gaskets 5k Dexron III Tranny Drain n Fill done since 190000 Dynamat in front doors on both inside sheet metal parts, Alpine component in front doors with cross overs, new wires ran from the door rubber grommets into the interior 1999 4runner center console upgrade, 1999 4runner parking brake plate is still needed for perfect fitment. OEM Toyota VIP 3000 Security system 4 remotes, 2 of them are OEM Records from 2011 since my ownership, that is 46,000 miles or since 189,000 miles Clean Title in Hand Please Read before you call/text Most of the interior panels are spray painted black, so is the front grill, I spoke to few places about buying interior from a totaled 4runner, if you want to go back to beige it is possible for under $200 The driver side seats is ripped and the paint on the roof and the hood is faded and clear coat is peeling If you are looking to build a trail rig this would be a good platform as e locked 4runners are fairly hard to find, if you are looking for a cosmetically beautiful vehicle then it will take some time and money.
