A: Insurance companies must declare a vehicle salvage from an accident when there is a total loss, but they have discretion with theft vehicles. Many insurance companies choose to salvage all thefts, regardless of condition, as a policy to avoid liability; this Ford is such a vehicle. Q: Was this Ford in a wreck? A: No! (Incompetent mechanics love to hand twist the joints and claim that the "slop" is proof of excessive wear) Therefore, to avoid debates with the truck thousands of miles away, please assume that this truck will have front end wear, including but not limited to the ball joints, arms, steering stabilizer, and all other parts associated with the front suspension that may require replacement. After-Sale Repairs: We will not reimburse any repairs which are performed prior to our authorization. If you feel there is a problem with your vehicle upon delivery, notify us immediately. We require that any issue be documented by video (easy to do with modern cell phones). You agree that any repair that you make without our prior consent will not be reimbursed and that you will hold Wheel Kinetics harmless for the repairs. It is normal for trucks to seep oil, particularly through transfer case casting cracks, motor and transmission gaskets, etc. We inspect for fluid leaks, not fluid seeps. Assume that this truck will come with fluid seepage. Vibrations: Cars and trucks vibrate, especially used cars and trucks with 101411 miles. We note vibrations whenever present, and you can watch our great driving videos for particulars. Most vibrations are caused by tires (second being brakes from warped rotors, third being driveshaft). In an ongoing effort to keep our vehicle prices down for customers, we often sell vehicles on bad tires. That allows you to choose the best size and quality for your application (we can put you in contact with our tire shop and receive our discounted pricing). However, vibrations are vague and very subjective. It is nearly impossible to troubleshoot a vibration over the phone given the subjectivity in the description. Therefore, we must disclaim all vibrational issues. Please assume that this Ford will have a vibration. I am the third owner of this truck which originally came from Louisiana and was brought to Minnesota in 2001. This truck has never seen a Minnesota winter which is why there is no rust on the body which they are notorious for having especially in this state. There are no dents or major scratches in the paint and the interior still smells like new, it has never had a smoker for an owner. No stains or rips in the fabric interior or cracks on the dash. Every thing on this truck is original with the exception of an upgraded stereo system with new speakers all around and a XDP performance chip with six settings from Stock, high idle, 50 hp, 75 HP, 100 HP and 140 hp increase and definitely makes a huge difference in throttle response. The tires on the rear are like new and the front two tires are new as of today 11-16-15. The truck just turned over 111,000 miles today extremely low for the age of this vehicle making this turbo diesel motor barely broken in. 1997 F350 Crew Cab Diesel 7.3 4x4 rust free restored This awesome 97 was a southern rust free truck that was restored to be an everyday driver show quality truck. This was restored to be my personal vehicle and no effort was spared. I have a need to sell it, unfortunately, and you have a chance to own a head turner that is reliable and nearly perfect. The body was rust free to start. Very rare. All body panels, bed, glass, doors, and bed were removed to be coated in PPG viper bright white with a two tone atomic orange Chevrolet burnt orange. This paint job cost me $10,000. The frame was stripped and coated in por 15 rust encapsulator, the under carriage was cleaned, scuffed, and undercoated, and is absolutely perfect. The engine has never been modified and runs perfect, I have added an air box, 6 position switch and a stainless steel exhaust. This truck has never been off road and I purchased it from an individual that cared for it meticulously. I searched for this truck for two years. This truck has 196000 miles on it and drives awesome. The transmission was rebuilt at 165000 miles and the rear differential was rebuilt 200 miles ago. Does not blow black smoke and has many miles ahead of it. The entire suspension is new sky jacker (4 inch lift), shocks, bushings, spring hangers, steering stabilizer, sway bars, and springs. New gas tanks as well. Brand new Pro Comp 35” tires with new custom rims. Truck has current PA inspection and the A/C blows cool as it should. Interior is stock with custom made front seat covers with a wide custom full console, from an expedition with usb and power outlets front and back. The exterior has new chrome bumpers, mirrors, Line X bed liner, windshield, grille, headlights, taillights, and anything else it needed to make perfect.
