Fair condition. Cosmetic wise the paint is worn on the hood and the back corner panels are pulled apart from 2 accidents previous to our ownership. Does not affect the function of the car in any way. The leather on the seats is a little worn. Mechanically it is sound except we can't get it out of 4 wheel drive for some reason. Does not have a battery (we had to use it in another vehicle). It has heated front seats, power windows and doors, dual moon-roof, rear jump seats. 1997 Discovery 1 that has many upgrades done within the last couple months. Engine and transmission seem to be running great. Transmission was just serviced. I just upgraded all suspension bushings with SuperPro polyurethane bushings, along with Fox Shocks 2.0 +2". It also has a 2" lift kit, brand new adjustable pan-hard bar, 275-70-16 BF Goodwrench All-Terrains with plenty of tread left on them, a brand new set of lug nuts, and just had it aligned and balanced last month. A/C is working great, and it has a new ignition switch. Includes extra set of OEM aluminum factory wheels with used tires and spare wheel!What needs to be improved/fixed: I'm currently working on the brakes (just installed new master cylinder last weekend, a new booster check valve has been ordered, and just installed a new brake caliper), needs new wheel ball joint ($50), I have a new dash console but haven't installed it yet, paint is faded but no rust on body (it's aluminum), front seat bottoms need to be repaired, needs wheel spacers to keep from rubbing when turning sharp, brush guard needs repainting, windshield has crack, needs new rear-view mirror, needs drivers door lock actuator, and drivers window occasionally "pops" (I think there's a kink in the window motor chain).This is an awesome vehicle that I really want to hold onto, but need truck for growing landscape business. Has never seen salt that I know of.Has been stored inside since I have owned it.This Land Rover gets a lot of attention.Vehicle is dirty in the pictures, had been sitting in the shop when I took the pictures.This vehicle is not close to perfect, and I will be upfront with my description.Ask questions if you have them.Paint is ok, clearcoat is shot in a lot of places, but it has patina.No rusted out fender wells or rear door jambs, body has been well preserved.Wheels have been painted and need to be repainted. For sale my 1997 Land Rover Discovery 4x4 V8. The car is in good driving conditions has a clear title currently registered until November 2015 passed smog just last week. The engine was replaced 5 years ago and it has 70xxx miles up to date Car has 171xxx miles on the chaise. The work on the engine was done at the Engine Place in Ventura, got all the paperwork to prove it. Just last month I did a full tune up to it: oil change, spark plugs, wires and coils( over $700). The Rover comes with updated pioneer stereo with hands free Bluetooth and Bluetooth music steaming. It also has new "Kicker" high performance speakers. It has new Bridgestone tires with over 85% life left on them. The car has the minor wear and tear for its age but overall it looks good inside-out.
