FLOORS WERE CLEANED OF ANY SCALE AND EPOXY PRIMED BEFORE BEING RE ASSEMBLED. THIS CAR WAS NOT CHOPPED UP. EXCELLENT CAR FOR A FULL RESTORATION.GM built only 626 of the flashy ragtops to celebrate the Indy 500 that year, and just 358 of those were Cutlass models – the rest were 442s, which were the actual cars used for race duty on the track. Of those 358 Cutlass ragtops, a scant few — only about 60 — were propelled by the smaller 350-cid, 315-hp engine. “The rest of them had the big 455 in them,” “These are a lot rarer, with the 350 in them.” The Y74 Indy Pace Car option meant you got a white convertible with black stripe decals and decal stenciling for the door commemorating the race. The package also included a Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 transmission; power front disc brakes, steering, brakes and manual windows; Super Stock II wheels; Rally gauges and a few other cool goodies. The woodgrain inserts on the dash and console gave the Cutlass Indy Pace Car interior a touch of sophistication, while the sport steering wheel, Floor shifter, black upholstery and carpet, and pleated high-back bucket sets gave it plenty of pizazz. The car’s front end also blends class and flash. The wide Ram Air scoops are integrated into the hood and are trimmed with wide black stripes. The refined split grilled and quad headlight arrangement with Cutlass script on the front left hint that this Olds is no low-budget pavement pounder! I have up for sale a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. This car was owned by my grand father who owned an Oldsmobile dealership in Illinois. He has since passed and we are liquidating his cars now. He was the original owner. This car has been stored in our warehouse for the past 18 years. The car has no rust at all. The car has 49,900 original miles. The interior rates at 10 and the exterior about 9. For being a 29 year old car, you will not find a cleaner or more well taken care of car. My grandfather added the Hurst scoop to the car as well. It is blue exterior and interior with a full size matching spare in the trunk. The car is all original and has never been restored. The oil, plugs, pcv, coolant and brakes were just done. The tires are perfect and it runs like a dream. Here is a little more info on the car below: 1 of 4273 produced and blue/blue combo was the second most rare color combos made. 1 owner 1986 olds cutlasss 442 (RPO code W42, vin"9"). The car runs and drives flawlessly . Power windows, locks, steering, driver power seat, ac blows cold, auto dimming rear view mirror, rear defog, premium factory stereo w/ cassette, factory dual exhaust. The car has been driven 1800 miles in the last 17 years as I have the faded gm oil change from feb of 1997. We are looking for cash deals. Feel free to text or call me at 313-790-5592 Lastly, I have a friend in the auto transport business and get great transport rates so I can help line that up if you need help getting the car transported.

Relisting as Fixed Price / Make Offer.Due to some questions, it appears that I wasn't clear about the needed body work and the body parts that are included. The new quarter panel skins, rear outer wheelhouses and trunk connecters, front fender patch panels are included but have not been installed. Also none of the new weather-stripping is installed because it should be done after the paint. The car is in its original 1971 paint, there has been no body work done on it in the 18 years we've owned it. Floor pans are structurally sound but I've just found some very small holes. If the body was finished I would be listing for something around $20k like most of the others instead of where it is. The $8250 opening reflects that it is not a perfect car, but it also reflects that I'm not trying to get rich off of the sale - seems a fair price, hope you agree. Lots of financial room to finish the car and still be under the typical asking price for a more finished car.All the pictures in this ad are less than 2 weeks old. This IS how the car looks now.Adding more details at the end. 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible, Red & White. 350/350 with HEI, cold air inlet, dual Flowmaster 2.5 inch exhaust, converted to front disc brakes and larger rear drum brakes, many more details, too much to list. This is a complete original car, never raced or molested, always adult owned and driven. Some of the chrome was removed in preparation for new paint, but that plan fell through. I have all the trim and badges in good driver condition. New quarter panel skins, rear outer wheelhouses and trunk connecters, front fender patch panels, new never installed seat backs and lower seat bases - molded in white, not painted, all weather-stripping for the top and doors, new sweeps for the windows, along with all hood and trunk weather-stripping and more will go with the car. Dash, door panels, kick panels and rear side panels have never been cut for radio or speakers. Console is complete and in good shape, but currently out of the car because I pulled the old carpet and wasn’t going to replace it until after the paint. We’ve had the car for 18 years and are the third owners. In that time we drove it about 70,000 miles, mostly highway. It has 153,700 original miles. It was my daily driver for work for over 10 years, so it was well maintained and upgraded in many ways, the list is too long for here. This is a solid dependable driver, fly in, drive it home. (New quarter panels may not fit in the car unless the top is down.) Several manuals and extra parts will go with the car. Additional pictures and descriptions are available. Thanks for looking. A $500.00 non-refundable PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours of winning bid, with full payment within one week. We can talk about how the final payment is made, but the car doesn’t leave until all funds clear and the bank is happy. Pickup or shipping is your responsibility, but I’ll be happy to help with loading, etc. The car is also advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction early..Additional info, some of it may repeat the above description:Updates: front bushings (poly) & ball joints, rear lower new control arms & bushings (poly) & springs, four gas shocks, 1997original transmission was rebuilt in 1998u-joints and trans mount, 1999timing chain & heavy duty oil pump, 2004. As far as I know this is the only time the engine was ever opened up, other than changing valve cover gaskets (which needs to be done again)Water pump, starter, 160-degree thermostat & radiator, 2006-ish. New white top and pads, 2011. Power top motor and hydraulics are all good and operational, no leaks everNew chrome outline trim on dash, 1998The heater core was replaced shortly before we bought the car in 1996AGM battery, 2014Upgrades: front disc brakes, new spindles, newer upper poly bushings, 11-inch rear drums and new power master cylinder, all from Master Power Brakes, new 2005HEI distributor & wires (five-pin ignition module and variable spark module from '79 Eldorado), 2000, - I have the original points distributor 100 amp alternator, PS pump & brackets from '79 Eldorado, 1997, - I have the original alternator, PS pump and brackets air cleaner & cold air setup from '79 Eldorado, 2001 - I have the original. This is the only surgery on the car. I had to cut an oval hole in the radiator bulkhead for the cold air scoop underhood maxi-fuse & relay panel from '90s Olds 88, 1999 - used for lighting, ignition, ready for dual electric fans, etc dual 2.5 inch Flowmaster exhaust, 2004. I think the mufflers are 40-series. Pretty loud Halogen H4 headlight conversion, 2002 - low beams are 80/100 watts, high beams are 90/130, high beams are wired so both filaments come on together. No need for extra driving lights here. Water, oil, and volt gauges from a '90s Chevy van - they fit the opening and were a good inexpensive temporary measure while waiting to find correct factory gauges at a 'reasonable' price. Correct sport mirrors with driver's remote are included. I used power mirrors from a '90s Olds 88, which I thought looked a little better, not so sure now, and one broke when I installed them. Trunk and under hood lights. Has Gorilla locks on the wheels - all the lug nuts are locks.Extras to go with the car: I have a Fisher Body manual, a Service Manual and a build manual.Have the original User Manual.Have new, never installed seat backs and lower seat bases, molded in white, not paintedThings that need attention: The AC condenser doesn't work. It was like that when we bought it and we never fixed it. (It's a convertible)The sender for the oil gauge has a small leak - hardly any oil actually gets out but it is messy and the sender needs to be changed. Nothing exotic, 93-ish GM van sender available at any parts storeJust before I listed it, something happened to the floor shift cable. I haven't looked at it yet. The trans linkage is also connected by hard linkage to the steering column for lock and switches, so the trans can be shifted by turning the sleeve on the column until the cable is fixed. Hokey, but it works until it can be fixed properlyNeeds carpeting and insulation, was going to replace after paintUnderhood fuse panel needs some cosmetic cleanup. Or it could be changed back to stock. Note that the halogen headlights definitely need a relay and I use separate fuse/breakers for high & low beams because of the amp draw.As mentioned above and shown in pictures, the driver seat needs re-covering, others are optional.

Here is a 1970 442 W-30 convertible tribute. Born as a Cutlass Supreme, it has been recreated to resemble the one of only 96 W-30 convertible 4-speed cars, built in 1970. Great attention to detail has been paid, in order to make it correct. The engine is a correct (396021F) 455ci., with Quadrajet 4bbl. carb, reproduction ram air (air) cleaner, W-455 aluminum intake manifold, and W-Z exhaust manifolds. It was completely rebuilt, and features (Keith Black) forged pistons, (Harland Sharp) full rocker rollers, (Engle) "20-22" camshaft with .496 intake/.512 exhaust lift, 2.07 intake/1.62 exhaust valves--which have the hardened valve seats, which allows it to run fine on 93 octane unleaded fuel. The distributor, is a standard unit, with the Pertronix kit installed, so there are no points to have to worry about. The compression ratio is 9.5:1. The transmission is a (M-20) Muncie wide-ratio 4-speed. It was also rebuilt, prior to installation. The shifter is an original Competition Plus. The rear end is the original 12 bolt O-axle, which was rebuilt with a limited slip unit and 3.42 (Richmond) gears. The drivetrain has approximately 3-4,000 miles on each member, since each rebuild has taken place. The body is painted black, and has a beautiful mirror like finish. The (power) convertible top is white (with the correct glass window), along with a new white top boot. And, W-30 stripes have been painted, in white. The interior is white vinyl, with bucket seats and a 4-speed console. Other interior amenities are the Rallye Gauge Package (clock has quartz movement, and keeps perfect time), and the optional Custom Sport steering wheel. Currently in the dash, is a Pioneer AM-FM/CD stereo. I do still have the original AM radio; and, I acquired another Control Panel dash section (with woodgrain and escutcheons already attached), which could be swapped in, if you prefer to have the original radio in the car. The rims are 15x7 Super Stock Chromes, with P245/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. The trunk has been restored, with the proper (GM) black and blue spatter paint, along with a (spare) rallye wheel, jack, and optional Oldsmobile rubber mat. I also have a complete set of weather stripping for the car (new in sealed packages). Other notable items, would be the 1970 specific sport mirrors, the W-35 rear spoiler, and the W-27 differential cover--which is unique, as the shape of the cover allows additional gear oil, and it being made of aluminum, dissipates heat quicker. Also, the red plastic inner fenders, which are specific to the W-30. This is an original air conditioning car. Although the compressor and condenser are not presently in the car, I do have them, if you wish to reinstall them. The front end parts have been replaced, with a performance kit from PST, by the previous owner. The windshield was replaced, when I bought the car. And, the battery and master cylinder have recently been replaced. I have only put approximately 6,000 miles on the car, in the time that I have owned it. It's a very sharp looking car, that has a commanding presence. It runs great, and smooth. It's fast, but not tempermental. It is an original California car, and as such, is a very solid car. I have owned it since 1997, and have all the records and receipts to the car, including the build sheet. It's kept in a heated, insulated garage; is not driven in inclement weather; and, has never been smoked in. It's a great car, that I've had many years of fun with. Unfortunately, family obligations mandate the sale. My wish is that it goes to a good home, where the next owner can enjoy it, as I have. I live approximately 30 minutes northeast of Buffalo. You are welcome to view the car in person, or call if you have any questions. (716)445-5543 [after 4pm EST, please]. A $1,000.00 Paypal deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end, with the balance to be paid within one week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The car is also being advertised locally; and, if sold as such, the auction will end at that time. Thank you for your interest, and good luck!

"Okay to call as late as 11:00pm.” (FaceTime available for only serious buyers, since the car is sitting at my storage) Hello, up for sale is a very rare 4-SPEED 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400. I honestly  haven't owned this too long. When my son and I saw it with a FOR SALE sign on the side of a backwoods road in (Boring, Oregon) we just had to stop out of curiosity. Expecting to see an automatic, our jaws dropped when we saw that it was a 4-SPEED. I personally haven't seen one probably since the 80's. I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT! I would love to restore it, but just don't have the time. Not a money issue, but just a time issue is all. Anyways, I could keep going on and on listing things about it but you really must see it to appreciate just how nice it is. Miles: Odometer shows 19,125 "works," but most likely 119,000 VIN #: 2U87T3N141865 Engine: Not original matching numbers. Has a slightly built Chevy 350 small block. Runs and drives, (see YouTube video link.) Transmission: 4-SPEED manual (Shifts great through all 4 gears and not sloppy at all.) Drivetrains: RWD Exterior: Black, needs paint. One dent on front fender, but not too bad. Has extremely small amount of rust. Interior: Grey carpet and the rest of the interior is black. Carpet and seats are new. Personally, I'd rather have black carpet. FOR YOUR INFORMATION: • Clean Oregon Title in hand. • Good tags until September, 2015. • Spare wheel. • Miscellaneous parts (see pics.) • Floor boards are solid. So is the trunk. • Runs and drives, (see YouTube video link.) • Engine starts up every time with no hesitation. • EXHAUST SYSTEM ALL NEW. (See pics.) • All windows are good with no cracks or rock chips. • Seals and chrome trim are good. • Wheels are not original, but look good and in near new condition still. • Drivers side door lock sticks sometimes. • Everything works on dash beside original tachometer. Most likely it’s just un-hooked. (Aftermarket one installed in working condition) Options: • 4-SPEED • Factory Air-Conditioning car, (not hooked up.) • Front power disc brakes • AM/FM Stereo, (currently not in working condition, UNKNOWN.) • MP3 (Single Disc), (currently not in working condition, UNKNOWN.) • Speakers, (currently not in working condition, UNKNOWN.) • Fitted Car Cover with lock ?
