So often these 993s sit and don’t get the routine exercise they demand. This example was always driven and serviced regularly, making it one of the most reliable 993s. This Porsche was built in November of 1996. The Tucson, Arizona Porsche dealer sold it new on September 30th, 1997. All the glass is original including the windscreen. The interior is equally as nice. The leather seats show minimal signs of use with no tears or rips. The headliner, carpet, door panels, and dash all look fresh with no blemishes. All the gauges and buttons function properly including the factory radio. The A/C blows very cold. From a driving perspective, this 993 is incredibly solid. It is clear that it has been properly serviced. The car starts easily with no hesitation and idles nicely. The throttle response is crisp with excellent power. The brakes have excellent bite with no pulling or fading. The clutch feels great and engages properly. Shifting is smooth and effortless. It drives nice and straight down the road. It’s hard to believe it’s a 20-year old Porsche, as it feels extremely tight. This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet has only had two owners. The soft top in new. It was a built to order car that was optioned more like a Turbo than just your standard coupe or convertible. The Paint color is Morrocan Metallic.  The car has the Large Carbon Fiber Package with carbon fiber E brake and  steering wheel. Full Factory Aero Kit. Turbo Twist wheels. The car has been driven very very little in the past 8 years and hardly at all the last 3. It  has bascially just been sitting in a garage. The previous owner was very good about starting and letting it run for a while every week. The paint on the car is very good. There is a scratch on the drivers door that has been touched up however and I suspect that whoever buys the car will just want to have the door painted. I however am choosing not to because the car has never had paint work and I don't want to be the one to make the choice. The car runs and drives like a 30k mile car. It is very tight and responsive. The car is in outstanding condition. This is a car that basically has just sat for a long time but that is also unmolested. It does not leak oil.  I have always loved this body of the 911.
