If you've been looking for a classic body TDI and can't seem to find one without rust and that has decent miles, than my 97 Jetta TDI with just 124k, absolutely no rust and a body that's been meticulously cared for over the years is for you. Mechanically this TDI runs strong. Motor fires up without hesitation and sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Drives well down the road. Steering feels nice and tight. Brakes feel good. Taking a look under the hood is immaculate. Coolant is nice and pink. Just a very well cared TDI over the years and it definitely shows. Cosmetically there is not a nicer one out there. Paint shines beautifully in the sun. Body is nice and straight with the exception of one door ding on front fender that is pictured. You'd have to get your magnifying glass out to find a scratch if there are any. Underneath is all clean and free of rust. Strut towers have 0 rust. Wheel wells are all clean. Interior is as fresh as they come. Seats, carpet and headliner all in good shape. Sunroof works and doesn't leak. You won't find a nicer classic Jetta out there. Even some 2014's can't compete. Great parts car For sale is a 1997 vw jetta. Complete rebuilt head , timing belt, water pump, oil pump and new brakes rotors, calipers, pads new rear brakes new battery all of done within past year. Now the bad, headlights, glove box and grill are gone, hood is off a different car, radiator has a small drip near bottom. Rear sway bar bushing are shot , or a broken shock, tires are in need of replacing. Windshield is badly cracked ,good project car or parts car, interior is in decent shape driver seat a little worn with a tear. It does start and drives but the rear end feels like it has either bad bushings or broken shock, not really sure. . Email with any questions Buyer is responsible for delivery of car to your place. At present the car is not safe for long travel. car is located in Michigan so if you are from out of state getting the car back to your location is some thing you need to consider before placing an offer.
