I have owned this vehicle for almost 2 Years. I have replaced the Front Struts, Front Wheel Bearings, Water Pump and High Pressure Power Steering Hose. This vehicle also has 4 New Goodyear Integrity Tires. Please note that this vehicle has normal scratches that do not show up on the photos. It also has a small dent on the lower passenger rear door. This vehicle has Front and Rear Heated Seats, but the Front Driver Heater does not work. Since the 1st listing the left rear window regulator was replaced. The northstar engine has a history of head gasket problems and oil usage. This engine requires coolant to be added approx every 2 months, and 1 quart of oil every 2000 miles. When you start the car, a message saying "speed limited to 90" appears. I was told this is because this car had aftermarket struts installed. You can clear the message and it will not come back until you start it again. I was told there's a small oil leak from the valve covers. Ct emissions test has passed. New mats.

Up for sale is a 1998 Cadillac Seville STS, with the 4.6L Northstar V8 engine and 4T80-E 4-speed automatic transmission. This car has 63782 original miles on the odometer, with a clean title in hand. The car was purchased in the summer of 2011 with a leaking head gasket, but due to unforeseen circumstances I was never able to have the issue repaired. Therefore, I've decided to cut my losses and sell the car to someone who has the means to have it repaired. Beyond the H/G problem, the car is in very good condition with any other issues being typical of the car's age. Included with the purchase of the vehicle will be the three book set Factory Service Manual to assist in any possible repairs or maintenance the car could need. Overview: Exterior: The factory white diamond tri-coat paint is in good condition, with wear on the bumper covers and scratches typical for a 17 year old car. The 16 chrome alloy wheels are in excellent condition, with little to no scratches, rash, or pitting.The mounts for the headlight assemblies on both sides are damaged and will need repair. This is a typical issue for this body style of Seville. Interior:The shale leather interior is in excellent condition, with light wear on the driver's seat.A couple of interior switches are worn, but all function without issue. Mechanical: As previously stated, the major issue with this car is the leaking head gasket. However, when last driven the car had great power, and did not overheat in the short (~30 mile) highway drive when I purchased it. The engine has been partially disassembled, and is nearly ready for removal from the vehicle. While this makes the car non-operational, it should make the job of repairing the head gasket leak easier for the new owner. A complete set of Fel-Pro engine seals will be included with the vehicle. The car is throwing two suspension codes, but all of the factory CVRSS struts tested good. There is likely a short in the suspension electrical which is causing the fault codes. The car displays a message requesting brake pad replacement. A full set of front and rear brake pads will be included with the vehicle.Electrical: All electrical features of the car worked without flaw when the car was last powered on. The Bose sound system with disc-changer sounds excellent, the factory power sunroof works as it should, and all other power options function normally.
