I'm selling my 1998 Chevy S10 Blazer. The truck is fully loaded: sunroof, roof rack, leather, power everything, ect. The interior is is good shape with some typical tears on the drivers seat, not as bad as most. Hot heat, 4wd works no problem. Tires are ok and it has a newer battery. There is a Viper alarm installed with keyless entry and remote start. Good NJ inspection until 2018. Everything works on it besides the A/C. It will work once charged but has a leak somewhere. There is some rust under the gas filler, other than that I didn't see any other rusty areas. I used the truck for my daily driver for years but recently got a much newer truck so this one has to go. 1998 Chevy S10 Blazer with 225110 miles. This SUV runs great but just recently began to make a loud tapping noise that is coming from the engine. I believe it is the connecting rod bearings that need to be replaced. Also, the motor is leaking some oil from the oil pan. The rear door lock is broken and as a result the rear window will not lock when closed. The drivers side door inner panel has some broken tabs and is loose. The drivers seat cover is torn and would need to be re-upholstered. The AC regulator does not work but the blower motor was recently changed. The air conditioner will blow air but it will not be cold. The SUV can be driven but the motor noise gets louder under acceleration. I do not have the time or money to fix. Please see pictures for body wear and tear. The motor has a knocking noise in the low end. It is not the numbers match motor but is a used replacement. The transmission was replaced with a refreshed one approximately 20k miles ago, all done by a GM Certified Master Technician. To the best of my knowledge everything worked when it was parked except the rear wiper, and the A/C needs a recharge. The driver seat has 2 burn holes. Both front seats are missing a plastic lever on the side for reclining. You can see an oil stain on the ground in the picture from an oil leak. The wife purchased this car in TN before we got together. We gave it to her son to drive in the fall of 2013, he got it stuck in a snow bank and (I believe) overreved the motor trying to get out causing the motor damage. We drove it onto and off of the trailer and parked it where it is now and that was in January 2014. The wife is now ready to move on and wants it gone.
