This car is truly an amazing example of a collector grade time capsule which still sits on its original factory tires. It’s genuinely in virtually as new unaltered condition and as such shows virtually no wear at all. When you sit down behind the wheel it truly as if you’ve gone back in time and test drove a brand new 1998 Z28. There is not any paint work, no dings, no rust, no drama or crazy stories. The wheels are in perfect condition, the top is as new perfect condition. The rear seats are perfect as are the original floor mats. This car comes with both factory original sets of keys complete with the valet key and original keyless entry fobs. The keys will have the original factory knock outs installed with key codes as well as the original paper dealer identification tag from 1998 on the key rings. This car also includes the original factory window sticker, factory build sheet and 1998 Camaro sales brochure and original factory parade boot (never used). Always adult owned documented 2 owner car that has always been kept in climate controlled storage. The previous owner told me it had never been in the rain or on a wet road and the same has been true of me as well. The undercarriage of this car supports that story as well. The A/C blows ICE cold and everything on the car functions as it should. It shifts factory tight and the clutch feels as new. This auction is for a bone stock 1998 Camaro z28 6-speed convertible with 155,000 miles and miles will go up slightly as I'm currently using it as a daily driver to work. the car is rust free and in really nice shape with the exception of some minor dings, scratch's here and there and a scuff on the left front fender that would probably buff out. the convertible top works but the frame looks to be missing 2 bolts that connect the arms together on the passenger side, I found a hole new piece on ebay for $145. the top looks almost perfect with no major leaks that I've noticed. the leather is super nice with very little to no wear. The leather on the steering wheel is wore threw but I have another wheel that I will throw in with the sale. The carpets are in very nice shape with some minor stains in the back floor area. the dash has no cracks and is clean. I have all new upper and lower ball joints that go with the sale ( not sure if it needs them but they are included ). The car appears to have been painted at one time but shows nicely and was repainted the stock color. Tires need to be replaced, brakes stop good, a/c is cold heat is hot, power options all work and no service lights on the dash. car rides nice on the highway at 75 and transmission shifts clean n smooth. the cars engine is strong and issue free, NO smoking, knocking, ticking SHE FIRES RIGHT UP AT THE TAP OF THE KEY. The power steering pump is going bad and I'm going to be replacing it with a new one and there is some faint noise in the rear sounds like a axle bearing. In my opinion is does not sound like a rear end, the more I've been driving the car it seems to have gotten quieter ( the car spent a lot of time in the last owners garage sitting). However it could be the rear but I don't believe it is and at highway speeds the sound is gone. THIS CAR IS NOT PERFECT BUT IS DEFINITLY A GOOD SOLID DRIVER. Up for sale is my 1998 z28 camaro. Car is very fast and fun. Looking for 11k obo. Reasonable offers will be entertained. So a little about the car,car made 724rwhp 757ftlbs on a mustang dyno with the converter unlocked on 24psi. Ive owned the car for roughly 6 years and its gone thru many setups this one being the most fun yet.the big down side to the car is it is a rebuilt tittle.from my research before buying the car years ago the tittle got branded the first day it was registered and left the dealership with 48 miles on it,car check shows no accident history so i believe it may have been a theft recovery. Unibody is not damaged and in good shape and along with the thrust angle for alignment.small dings and scratches here and there,pretty usual for a car of this age.could use a bmr trans crossmember as well. The one in the car was the factory one modified to work.but the bmr one will make instant center adjustable.on to the good. Engine is a 2005 ls6 out of a ctsv with under 20k miles at this point.motor has been inspected every year for wear and everything inside still looks brand new. Ring gaps have been opened up from .013" to .025" to keep the rings from butting. Head studs along with coated oem mls gaskets seal the heads. Has a Texas speed 224/228 114lsa cam installed along with btr platinum spings. Backing the motor is a rebuilt 4l80e that is dual feed with a jakes performance 4000 rpm multidisk stall that is set to lock up in 3rd gear when wot. Car has a custom built twin turbo setup utilizing twin turbonetics t3/t4 5862 turbos. Alot more stuff done to the car but this is the bread and butter of the setup.car is fast and when i say fast i dont mean fast like half the adds out there.it also is very streetable,i have driven the car to spokane and royal city for a few roll racing events with zero issues.i wouldnt hesitate to take a road trip in it. Car should run low 10s high 9s rather simply. Test drives will only be given to serious people with cash in hand.this isnt somethingi have to sell but am look at moving on. Asking 11k obo. Arctic White convertibles, especially T56 manual (M6) transmission cars are very hard to find. Car is awesome and gets thumbs up everywhere is goes. A few light blemishes, but overall excellent condition. Rear bumper cover paint is spider cracked, but is purely cosmetic and cannot be seen from a few feet away. Air bag light is on due to Grant steering wheel (horn and cruise control both fully operational, as well as ASR traction control). Passenger air bag is 100% functional. Heat, AC and all fan settings work properly just needs an AC charge. Can have it done for $50 if an issue. Could use an alignment due to brand new tie rod ends, but still tracks straight. Two very tiny chips in windshield, about 1/8' in size. Rear differential needs backlash shimmed and is damp. Not causing any issues, however, just slight highway speed whine from the Detroit Locker. Passenger window suffers typical fbody slow "up", can be fixed with included window regulator or I can replace prior to pick up for an additional small price. Comes with original driver's steering wheel with functioning air bag, factory new Z28 style gauge cluster, and passenger door window regulator and motor brand new, if requested.
