1998 Custom Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4I have owned it for the past 4 years and purchased it from the original owners. It is the top edition with all bells and whistles including the tow package with upgraded brakes. I have never used it for towing and the family I bought it from said they didn't either -- they used the truck to pick up firewood and stuff like that. I use it for home improvement projects and makes it easy to get anything needed from home depot etc. It has a 6.6 ft bed. It has the excellent v8 5.2L 318 motor and 5 speed transmission (Rare Package). 193,000 miles - no accidents. I have owned it for the past 5 years.I have customized it and done many upgrades and added new parts. All stickers, etc were removed and truck is a matte black (flat black) -- it was originally black from the factory. I have the original factory premium rims and tires painted gloss black (which have about 50-60% tread left).Aftermarket headlights (halo effect) and taillightsNew aftermarket fog lights(4) Custom rims with almost new tiresI have the premium (4) stock rims and tires as well (painted in black)New shocks and brakes all around.Tune up -- plugs, wires, distributer cap, rotor, etc. Front bullbar (can be removed)Replaced front axle & wheel bearingsReplaced steering column shaft New alternator, battery, terminals, ground wires, and the solution was a new crankshaft timing senor ( I was chasing an intermitting starting issue which was the senor -- so all new extra parts your gain and my loss.I definitely have done more parts and stuff but cant remember.The only issue I know about is I dont know if the A/C works or not -- the belt on it bypasses the A/C so not sure if the prior owners did it on purpose or not -- I never looked into it because the pass summers here haven't been very hot. Title is clean and clear and in hand. You get both set of rims and tire packages and whatever extra parts and pieces I have that go with the truck.

Premium Cloth seating is in good condition with no major tears or wear areas. AM/FM/Cassette stereo sounds great. The air conditioning is cold and blows strong but there is an issue with it blowing out the center dash vents, as we can only get it to blow through the top of the dash. Otherwise all interior controls function as they should. There is a check engine light lite up on the instrument cluster. Dash and door panel trim look great. The rear seat flips up offering large storage bins underneath, holding the jack and tools. Carpets throughout are quite soiled, headliner and visors are in great shape and rearview mirror looks good too! The exterior has beed repainted, a fair job done, but not professoinal by any means. The body of the truck looks straight, no major damage to be found. The underside is spectacularly clean and free of any frame rot and rust. The chrome front and rear bumpers do have some dents as does the lower section of the passenger cab side. Headlights and taillights all function correctly and look good. The right front fender has a scuff and is missing the emblem. The truck has 1 key, spare tire, jack and tools. Floor mats and owners manuals are not available. The engine is a Responsive and Powerful 175HP @4800 rpm, 225 ft-lbs of torque @ 3200 rpm 3.9 liter V6 mated to an optional 4-Speed Electronically Controlled Automatic w/OD Transmission driving the rear wheels. On cold start the vehicle has a slight hard shift from 2nd but goes away afer a few minute warm up. This is a 1998 Dodge Dakota 3.9L 2 Door Pickup. It is in good running condition. A crate motor was placed into this fully customized vehicle. The engine and transmission run great. It is sitting on an air bag kit and has a fully functioning stereo. I am also including an extra full set of alloy rims (see picture) and the bed cover (also in the pics). This vehicle would make a perfect project car capable of full customization with plenty of pieces to work with or it can be fixed up as is and still have a pretty bad ass ride. There are, however, some condition issues. The motor takes a bit to warm to idle when turned on (shouldn't be a serious problem...probably just needs some adjusting), the left/driver's side front shock absorber needs to be readjusted/placed, the interior needs some work: it is missing one door handle... I have it on a vice grip, there are a few scratches on the body and the driver's side rear view mirror is missing other than that the body is in very good shape. Still, this vehicle is drive-able as it is. The registration/tags are good on it until June 2015. This vehicle should make someone ready to take on their next project, or someone capable of some handy work, very happy.
