Selling my Dodge Ram 2500 4X4. This truck runs and drives great. No issues with the engine or transmission at all. The frame is solid but the rocker panels could use some body work. The 4X4 works good. Tires, brakes, exhaust are all ok. Turn the key and drive it home. Clean inside and the A/C blows cold air. I have this truck for sale on my front lawn so if it sells there before it sells here I'll need to end the this auction. The first person to bid in this truck is going to own it. Selling it for $1600.00 I am the 2nd owner of this truck and it was well cared for. Ask all you questions before you bid and thank you for your interest. If you are in the market for a working 4 wheel drive pickup truck that will get the job done, This is the truck for you. If you can overlook at the clear coat and touch up the rockers. The Story: This is a very hard to find Cummins/6 Spd drive-train combo quad cab truck. This rig was used as a work truck but it was adult owned, never abused, non smoking and very well maintained. This truck has some dents, dings and scratches as you would expect from a work truck but is very tight mechanically. This truck starts, runs, shifts, drives and stops excellent in every way, it is a good tight, string running rig and it will not disappoint you. Options and Equipment: Has a very powerful 5.9L Cummins engine, 6 spd trans, 4WD, power windows/locks, tilt, AC, heated/power mirrors, keyless entry, cruise, fog lights, tow package, receiver hitch, seats 6, very clean non smoking gray cloth interior, good glass, a good set of matched Cooper AT tires on alloy rims and never any rust (still has factory frame stickers, see photos underneath) We installed 2 new batteries, gave this truck a full safety inspection, oil/filter change, checked all fluids, air filter, inspected the brakes and undercarriage, has been professionally cleaned inside etc. This is a used 11 year old work truck and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. There is a small spot on the edge of the driver seat bottom and one on the back seat (see photos) There are some small dents, dings and scratches on this truck as you would expect on a work truck (see photos) There are dents inside the bed and on the fender wells as you would expect on a work truck (see photos) There is some damage to the rear bumper plastic cover and I see some critter has chewed the insulation under the hood (see photos) Please call me, I'm a small family business, not some slick haired, polyester clad car salesman. Stop looking for trucks any further!!. I am selling my mint condition 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel ¾ ton with the famous 5.9 Cummins 24v. Clean title and ONLY 64,384 miles. Yes Only that few miles. I purchased this truck from the original owner with 30K miles in 2008. He had that truck garaged as I have done too. Truck is from Florida and has absolutely no rust. The paint looks new with a couple of very small scratches that have to be pointed out to be noticed. All oil changes and services have been done on time or early. This truck has been meticulously maintained and has never been beaten on or abused or have been in an accident as you can see in the history report. I used the truck for commuting to my job; a 15 min trip, until I retired. I am selling it because I just bought an SUV and do not have room in my garage to keep it. Interior is leather that is in good condition for the year, lining is perfect . Also have the factory tool kit and jack it came with. Up for sale is a very rare and hard to find 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 12 Valve Cummins 4x4 long bed quad cab diesel truck with 211,264 Original Miles. They only made the quad cab (rear opening doors) for the first half of 1998 with the bullet proof 5.9L 12 Valve Cummins turbo diesel engine. Let me start by saying that this truck has had thousands and thousands of dollars invested into it, a lot of which was done recently (I will detail this below). This is a California Dodge diesel that has been on the West Coast its entire life. This truck was used primarily for camping trips down to Baja and hasn't been subject to hauling heavy loads. The truck is incredibly dry (no rust) and very straight. This truck runs and drives great! The engine fires right up and has been meticulously maintained its entire life. The oil, oil filter, and fuel filters have been routinely changed to ensure clean oil and fuel is running through the engine. The KDP (Killer Dowel Pin) was tabbed, so you don't have to worry about that. The transmission is the original 47RE and has been consistently serviced and maintained. It was recently serviced at 196k miles by Oceanside Transmission. There is a very small leak in what appears to be the pan gasket and I've decided not to drop the pan. Given the age of the transmission, you may want to do a Heavy Duty overhaul or rebuild if you are going to be hauling loads. There are new Yokohama Geolander 315's (2016), the rear brake drums and shoes are BRAND NEW. This truck cruises on the freeway, mechanically this truck is really good and has been routinely serviced and maintained. Please refer to the end of this description for all of the new parts. This truck has had almost everything done that is needed for these 2nd gens. The cruise control wiring needs to be worked on, it is currently not working and the windshield has a crack in it. This truck is NOT a show truck. It is almost 20 years old and has the original paint. There are no major dents and really only a couple of minor dings. It is pretty incredible how straight this thing is. The paint is original and has clear coat fading, chips, and scratches like they all do. With that being said, this truck can still shine up with the best of them. There used to be a camper shell on the bed and rubbed up against the back of the cab. This wore the paint down in some spots and led to some surface rust, it just needs to be sanded, primed and touched up. The front seats were completely redone ($1,200) and look great! The carpet is in good shape and the rear seat is very good. Overall this interior is pretty spotless. For sale is a 1998.5 Dodge 2500 diesel 4-door long bed truck with a 24v 2000 drive train and 5-speed manual. 4x4 works fine. It has a custom 8 inch lift. Works great, handles very well for a lifted vehicle. 75% 35X12.50 firestone destination mt's with new 17in Dcenti wheels. The '00 drive train had 205k miles on it. All the gauges work fine. Engine has rebuilt injector pump. Rebuilt transmission and transfer case. New Southbend ceramic clutch with Southbend hydraulics. Fass air/fuel separation fuel system. New brakes all the way around. Edge CTS monitor with timing box turn knob for programming. 50hp injectors. Mild set-up that is great for towing and lower egts. 4in full exhaust. Paint is equipment grade so it is not the nicest in the world but still looks good. No rust at all. The cab did have rust but that's why it has a 1998.5 cab now and no rust anywhere else on truck. We bought this from a friend, the original owner, who used this as a family vehicle and a commuter. We have kept up with all maintenance. These are topped off with FOUR BILSTEIN 5100 SERIES Stainless Steel Shocks and a ROUGH COUNTRY Steering Stabilizer. The Differentials and the transfer case have BG PRODUCTS fluid service. New parts have been installed: Radiator, Water Pump, Serpentine Belt, Two Heavy Duty Batteries, Positive Battery Cables, Negative Battery Cables, Heavy Duty Starter, and Alternator.
