Nice clean, good running Ford ZX2 coupe. This has the 5 speed manual trans and Cosworth style Zetec 4 cylinder motor with the 16 valve dohc head. Motor puts out 130 hp and does a very respectable 7.4 sec 0-60 time. Very fun to drive. Same formula as the old British sports cars of the 60's and 70's, a potent high-revving motor in a lightweight chassis. There is some minor cosmetic damage (scratches) to the right front fender, but should be an easy fix. Check out the pictures. This car is priced to sell. Serious offers will be considered.

I am selling my white 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 Sport as a tow away or as an easy fix mechanic's special and ***It does come with a new Denver emissions test done and paperwork in hand.***It starts, runs, and drives but repair should be done first before driving beyond a mile or so. I believe the coil pack and plug wires need to be replaced. Coil pack is $54 and plug wires are $25. This is an extremely easy fix for someone. This vehicle is in fair condition both cosmetically and mechanically. It was well maintained with regular oil changes and scheduled maintenance. THE BADThe last oil change revealed an intermittent loose valve seat that results in some clicking noise, which is why this vehicle is being sold. It was hit while parked by a moving truck. The collision occurred on the rear and resulted in the tailgate, bumper and fender being damaged. The insurance company totaled the vehicle and it has a rebuilt title from the state of Washington. The right rear seatbelt was damaged and removed. There was a roof leak from the previous roof rack which has been repaired. The leak caused the carpet under the passenger seat to get moldy. The carpet was cut, removed and cleaned but it has not been re-attached. The right mirror has a cracked housing. The electric mirror adjustment is not functioning. The dome light is not functioning.
