This is the second time I am posting the car. The first buyer thought I misrepresented the car so I will do my best to explain everything, but please email me with any questions. The car was originally purchased brand new by my father in 1998 in Florida. The car was in his possession until 2009 when he bought a new vehicle. The car sat for a few months before (long enough for the battery to die) before my wife and I visited my parents in Florida and my dad gave me the car (title and all). We trailer-ed it back home here in Central Michigan. I had plans for the car, but the way Michigan does insurance and registration here made it too expensive to drive for only half the year so I opted to garage it (It still has the Florida license plate on it and has NEVER been registered in Michigan). I have taken it out around the block and started it frequently (especially in the winter) to keep it in good running condition. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS A 16 ALMOST 17 YEAR OLD CAR! For the most part I have managed to do that. This is where my previous buyer pulled out on me so I am going to be as descriptive as I can for this part. I did not do any maintenance on the car until about a couple months ago (the exact time frame I do not know, but it was not that long ago). The car was in the shop and had a full tune-up and one of the power packs/coils replaced. They also looked the car over for me and gave it a clean bill of health and handed me the keys to which I too her for a test drive and she ran like new. I took her home and was excited to have it all fixed. The car started and ran fine for me every time I it on it routine drive around the neighborhood. I have thought about my future and plan to pursue my education which would take me away from Michigan so the car would be a bit of a burden plus I don't want to see it sit any longer when someone can get some enjoyment out of it. I posted the car here and on local listings. I had an interested party call me and he requested a bunch of photos and a video of the car running (I now have two videos, one of the me walking all the way around the car while it is running and one of me driving it around the block). In the video of the me driving the car he noticed that the odometer didn't move and brought it to my attention. I assumed it was the shop from when they changed the transmission fluid and filter, but couldn't prove it so I just took it back to them. They needed a part to reattach the cable which I was charged for and they did the labor for free since it was thought it might have been their fault. The buyer agreed to purchase the vehicle after I had the odometer fixed, but after reattaching the cable it was determined that the cluster is bad (The speedometer, tachometer, temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge and voltage gauges all still work). I asked the mechanics to look the car over really good because I was selling it and they found the steering rack was leaking and the front tie rod ends needed to be replaced. I am having all of this work done and it should be done sometime next week (The gauge cluster needs to be sent out to be rebuilt and that takes roughly 5 days). After all of this he pulled out because he thought I misrepresented the car in the original post because I said it was in excellent condition. My question is, I was an infantryman in the Army, I am now a psychology major in college and plan to apply to Chiropractic School and before all of this I was working odd and end jobs like fast-food, what part of my history says I am a mechanic? All I can do is relay what the issues are that mechanics tell me. I did not misrepresent the car in the original post and I did my best to explain everything here so please bid knowing that you are bidding on a 16 / 17 year old car that has not had much use in the last few years so things are going to be wrong, but they should be minor especially after all the money I have sank into the car. The car needs tires and has very minor damage in front of the drivers side tail light, but it is extremely minor and a very small nick/gouge in the drivers side skirt (You can barely see it standing up). The ashtray lid hinge is broken so it just sits on the ashtray instead of being able to flip up or down and their are two minor spots on the side of the drivers seat where the leather cracked just a little bit. PLEASE ASK IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS. I will have the SVT certificate in my hands in the next day or two (dad had to mail it too me the other day from Florida) and I do have a clean title for the car. I bought the $2.00 picture pack through ebay so I could load more pictures and have larger pictures so that you can see everything about this car. The pictures do not lie. The car is all original and has no aftermarket anything put on it with the exception of the headlight covers that can be removed. HAPPY BIDDING!

My Cobra is powered by the original 305 horsepower version of the 4.6-liter V-8 with 32 valve overhead cam motor. The car has never been driver in the rain or snow. I am the 2nd owner, the 1st owner is my bother in law who only put 6200 miles on it for its 1st 8 years. Currently is has 30,700 miles. It is number 1873 of 3480 made and 1 of 979 triple black convertibles made. In 2006 through 2008 I upgraded and replaced the following · Steeda Caster Camber Plates · Ford Motor Sport Springs · Jack Roush Shocks and Struts · New Ford Motor Sport plugs and plug wires · Cobra grill emblem · BF Goodrich G Force tires 255 40ZR17 · New Ford Motor Sport Clutch and Pressure Plate (two years and less than 500 miles) All original parts will be supplied with the car, even the original tires if you want. The Cobra has a clean Carfax however, it does indicate a mileage inconsistency. This is due to an incorrect entry by the smog check technician into the computer system. The hand written copy from Smog Stop shows the odometer reading at 30,146 which is correct. The technician unfortunately typed the mileage as 60,146 miles on the Smog Check Vehicle Inspection Report. This wasn’t realized at the time. The car was stolen on 3/19/2013 and recovered on 3/21/2013. The list of items replaced include: · Keyless Entry Module · AB Switch assembly direction indicator · Cup Holder · Switch plates on both doors · Lower trim panel under the steering column · All of the trunk panels The only article still missing is the boot for the convertible top. Both the front and rear bumpers were removed and painted. The cars paint is a #1 with only a very small blemish, less than 1/8” round on the trunk lid. The right side skirt does not fit flush. The interior is in very good conduction and has never been smoked in. The car drives very very good. It has not been driver for the past three years as I am now an owner of a 2012 Boss 302 LS that takes up my free time. So if you want a very good and clean SVT COBRA this is it.

Car runs Great it has aftermarket exhaust and MSD ignition, but mostly still stock. Sounds Amazing. If you want a low mileage Cobra for cheaper, then this is it. Dont be fooled by the Rebuilt Title the damage was Minimal at most. I have updated the pics to show damage before it was fixed. The only thing that it Still needs is a passenger airbag, Driver side window switch panel needs fixed (not from damage see pic)missing radio and air conditioning needs recharged, but you wont need that until next year now. The Halo lights were not bought from eBay they were bought from American Muscle.com. It is a 98 and may have a paint chip here and there, but nothing that stands out.
