Hi there and thank you for looking at my auction. Up for sale is my 1998 Honda Civic. I have been using this as a commuter car to run back and forth to Pittsburgh on weekdays. Im moving soon and offering it for sale. Im asking $1400 because it was previously in an accident and repaired, this was from the previous owner and over 7 years ago. Car has no known issues. It has power windows and locks, keyless entry, cold AC, and nice tires. There is some cosmetic damage throughout the car. The front windshield does have a crack in it but its not within the driver view. I will be happy to answer any questions.

Parting ways with this great Honda Civic LX. It has 4 new wheel bearings, distributor cap, recently changed spark plugs and wires, oil change, radiator, brake fluid flush. The speedometer and odometer has stopped working at about 183,000. The motor is still strong but has develop some transmission issues - rough shifting between 1st and 2nd gear. It has been driven to KU - about 90 miles day for the past 4 months giving it probably about 200,000 miles. Great reliable car and has been with one owner for the last 14 years.

I am selling this for my son. It is advertised locally so first come, first served and I reserve the right to end the add at any time when it sells. Here I have a 1998 Honda Civic DX hatchback for sale. 1.6L SOHC. I bought this from a friend of mine 4 months ago to use a commuter to and from work. I have spent the last few months fixing it up. My wife is receiving a Mary Kay company car soon so I will be using her old camry instead, so I need to sell this car now. My friend bought it at 50k and put 150k miles on it driving to college and back everyday (all country roads and highway). He's a mechanic and kept the maintenance up on it well. If you know anything about Honda's, then you know there is a lot of life left in this car. You will probably get sick of driving it before you wear it out.I installed a new starter, battery, timing belt, accessory belts, and pulleys. It has a fresh set of tires on it, a solid front end, and it was recently alignment right before I bought it. I pulled the valve cover and found excellent looking cam lobes, no deposits or sludge. I pulled all the spark plugs and found no scoring or damage to the pistons or cylinder walls. The engine has fresh oil it, it does not tick or knock and it starts right up every time. The transmission shifts well and shows no signs of slipping or other issues. I was unable to complete my to do list since I am now selling it. The radiator has a small crack in it, both rear brake lines need replaced. (I pinched them off for a temporary fix so I could test drive it after making repairs). It needs an idle air control valve (I hear they're about 30 dollars from the stealership). The check engine light diagnostic code is for this control valve. It's right on top of the manifold and easy to get to. It has some dents and scratches on it and needs cleaned out. I am selling it for what I bought it. I'm taking a loss in the parts money and time I have in the car, but since I was not able to complete the to-do list I am selling it for $1100 Please email me for more information about the car.
