First and foremost, I do not know if this car is a GLX or a GLS. I do know it's a turbo and it's a sedan but I have no clue about the S or X???? It does not say which it is on the title. Sorry. Also, there is no radio. My son removed the crummy one that came with the car and threw it away. Then he removed the good one before giving the car back to me. Thank you, son:( Anyway.... I bought this vehicle from my sister (original owner) 3 years ago and I gave it to my son as an extra car to have "just in case" they needed an extra car if one of theirs broke down or whatever. He has 4 kids and I knew one of them was going to need it sooner or later. Well, it didn't really work out very well. The car had an electrical problem with doors locking you out and a sunroof that would automatically open whenever it felt like it. Those problems seemed to resolve themselves and then out of nowhere, the door started leaking. And it leaked a lot. There would be several inches of rain water sitting on the front and the back floorboards. They never took it in to be fixed. They never cared. They just let this nice little car sit and rot. The battery is dead. The brakes are completely gone. He let the tags die. That's what happens when you give someone a nice gift. They don't take care of it. They take it for granted because they didn't pay for it and it's not their loss. It's mom's loss. Who cares? The shame of it is that there is nothing wrong with the motor or the transmission that we know of. How could there be with only 140K miles on a VW? I mean, I cannot guarantee anything, but I've never heard of a VW not getting at least 200K miles out of it. NEVER!!! There should easily be another 60K of great mileage left on this cute little car. But who can stand the smell of the mold? Of course if you are a person who knows how to fix these little problems then you could easily have yourself a great little car for next to nothing. It is only fair to sell this little gem for parts only. Oh, and as you can see the shotgun side is nasty. Somebody recently spilled something on the front seat. It wasn't that way a couple of weeks ago but I think they spelled something on it when they drove it to my house...... and they did drive it over here. It needed a jump start but it drove nicely for the short trip of 5 miles. My son said the brakes were very scary but everything else was still really nice. It's too bad that no one would buy this car if I included my 40 year old son with the sale. It's probably not legal or I just might add him as an included freebie to go!!! Trust me when I say that I will never buy him another car or anything else of value that he won't take care of. I have learned my lesson. Let them pay for it with their own hard earned money and they will take care of it. We will ship it if you take care of the details and costs. It is backed in and ready to be towed.
