Hey guys! I am selling my 1998 Navy Blue Volvo S70. I drove this car for about 3 years. In that time, I replaced all four tires. I never had a single mechanical issue with it. Great low mileage on this car for the year (1998). This will last several more good years of driving! Volvo makes a solid car and this is the last year of Volvo which is not fully automated requiring a computer for repairs (meaning if you're handy, you can do most / a lot of mechanical repairs yourself... if needed, though as I said I've never needed to do so). I'm sad to sell, though I moved to NYC and no longer need a vehicle. A few more things about the car... It is a salvage title (someone rear ended me at a traffic light and the car was deemed a total due to it being an older year vehicle). I had my mechanic do a full inspection and found the car to be in perfect mechanical condition, so I decided to keep the car. It had only exterior damage (which was repaired with insurance claim). There is some minimal damage to the taillight and rear (it was involved in a hit and run, while parked). Solely cosmetic stuff which does not need to be repaired to drive the vehicle (taillight may need replacing, but you can buy a taillight lens on Ebay and DIY). Some light chipping on the bumper from parallel parking in the city. There are some small quirks with it being an older car... the driver's side seat requires using a preset button to move it forward, it is automatic and the motor is slow. Operating the windows up and down may be finicky, but they will certainly seal shut. There has never been any water damage. The interior of the car is very clean and in perfect condition. The leather interior has no scratches or tears. I always covered the back seat with a blanket to protect the leather. Sunroof is great to have! Seals shut, and again no leaks! Some peeling of paint / rubber trimming... all normal for the older year of the car and has not compromised the quality of interior at all. I recharged the AC with one can of freon about two summers ago and it's been running cool ever since. Perfect starter car, will last many more years to come!! I've never had any mechanical problems and I've owned the car for years!! Selling AS IS @ $1,895. Cash only. Come to our location to pick up and bring a tag to drive away. 1998 Volvo S70 GLT white with tan leather interior and sunroof 235,000 miles on the body100,000 miles on the engine (engine was replaced 16,000 miles ago with a 1999 S70 turbo engine with 83,000 miles at the time of the swap.The good:- timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, distributor, spark cables, spark plugs, radiator replaced less than 1000 miles ago- brake rotors and pads replaced less than 1000 miles ago- two brand new front CV half axles go with the car (ran out of time to replace them)- power everything and everything works, including the radio/cd player and the remote control- tow bar with wiring is fully functional- clean and clear title, passed smog last year, tags expired September 2016The bad:- engine coolant circuit has a leak: the car loses all the water immediately after reaching operating temperature. The motor runs but the car has to be towed. The oil doesn't look milky and there aren't exhaust fumes in the coolant, nor white smoke, so it may be just a leak in the coolant circuit, but it also may be a broken thermostat or, worst case, a shot head gasket. Car has to be towed!- tan leather interior in fair condition, front seats have rips- rear left door broken actuator - shocks holding up rear trunk lid are shot

Here for sale is a project that I never started, I bought this S70 having planned to pull the transmission and all associated parts to do a manual swap on my 850R. But after lots of thought I didn't want to go pulling apart a car that runs perfectly and is so preserved and original. So I pulled the turbo off which happens to be a 16T and it has been sitting every since. Well now that I'm tired of looking at it it's time to sell. Interior is in excellent shape. Leather is almost perfect minus being a little dirty. I steam cleaned the front driver seat and reconditioned it and the underlying condition really surprised me. Exterior is in great condition minus the little bit of rust on the pass. rear quarter panel. Other wise all other panels are solid. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
