Starts and idles smoothly. Runs well at all speeds. I have driven this car at speeds up to 135mph and the car performs well. The engine does emit a puff of smoke when started in the morning but nothing thereafter. From my experience with BMW 4.4 v8 engines. I would say it will need a new crankcase ventilation valve in the near future. TRANSMISSION Automatic transmission works but needs attention. The transmission will shift badly or slip if you accelerate hard in low gears. The reverse gear is weak and the car cannot be reversed up any appreciable incline. A gentle foot when accelerating ensures a smooth shift. I have been driving the car in this state for the past 6 months. My intention was to drive the car until the transmission packs up completely but it continues to function up till now. The car will accelerate to 130+ mph smoothly if you don’t floor the gas pedal. EXTERIOR Above average exterior. Few scratches and dings as expected in a used car. Small dent on hood. Paint chips on hood. Please look at pictures in detail INTERIOR Average wear and tear. Both driver and passenger side front seat leather are slightly worn. Please look at pictures in detail. ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS All installed electrical components tested and work ok. This includes A/C, heater, power windows, power seats, cruise control, sun roof, radio etc. Airbag light is on BRAKES & TIRES 4 matching Michelin Pilot tires that have 30% tread left. However, they are cracked due to age. I was going to replace them but they still drive nice and smooth and have not failed in the 6 months I’ve driven the car. Brakes have not been checked for wear but work well at this time. 2 front wheels have dents but still run smooth KEYS 1 Keys/remote combo TITLE The car has a clear GA title ready to go. EMISSIONS The car has current GA emissions good for another 6 months SUMMARY Nice powerful BMW that’s needs some work to bring it up to spec.

I have maintained it extremely well, and have the service records. It is stock, except for the following upgrades:INTERIOR:Front seats reupholstered in perforated vinyl (professional shop); match leather seat in rear perfectly. This is a much better choice than leather, in my opinion (easier to clean/ won't dry out/ softer) You cannot tell that it is not leather!Dash is perfectAll electronics work perfectly: seats, radio (6-CD with unit in trunk), windows, door locks; remote locking, sunroof.AC/heat/ventilation work perfectlyBlack/red coco matsTrunk factory rubber liner.FULL tool kit in trunk- no missing tools and everything is excellent. I replaced headlight units wit Depo units that have the halo running lights. These are better than the factory lights and work perfectly.I have replaced both front and rear windshield gaskets (cosmetic pieces) - the car has never leaked.8.5 x 18 ESM 002r wheels on front with 235 40 18 Yokohama S Drive tires, Tires have 5000 miles, wheels are in excellent condition9.5 x 18 ESM 002r wheer on rear with 265 35 18 Yohohama S Drive tires, tires have 5000 miles, wheels are in excellent condition. (wheels are similar to the factory BBS style 5s that come on the sport package car)Interior: Gray leather/ leatherette front seats, in excellent condition!I changed the front control arms, and all the suspension bushings, and added h&R lowering springs (1.2" mild drop) with Bilstein HD shocks. The car rides and handles beautifly. I have a Porsche Cayman and this sedan is very close in handling, believe it or not. It does not use ANY oil! I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w30 every 5000 miles.When something needed repair, I did it. There are no mechanical issues whatsoever. This is not some worn out car that needs $5000 of work. It would be an inexpensive luxury/performance car for someone. The E39 is regarded as one of the all-time best BMWs: one of the last with a full size spare, a toolkit, and a dipstick. I will not accept lowball offers. This is not that car.

This car is a 1999 BMW 528i sedan. First off, it runs poorly. It will make it on a trailer but the starts and runs rough and it WILL overheat given time. When I initially got it, the car would not start. I put new plugs in and it fired up pretty easily. It blew a lot of white smoke from the exhaust so I assume the head gasket has been compromised. After a few people drove it in contemplation of buying it started running worse and worse again. The hoses, thermostat, and fan have been replaced for sure. Other items were also replaced but it still will need an engine repair to be running the way it is supposed to. Transmission functions well. Tires are nearly new, car is Pennsylvania inspected with emissions until 5/16. Body has a few small dings and minor imperfections but pretty clean with nice shiny paint for a 16 year old car. Sunroof, leather power seats, and CD changer in the trunk. I presently have off some of the engine cover pieces and intake as I was considering doing the head gasket myself before I put it on the back burner.
