For SALE: 1999 Mercedes C43 AMG. Car has fire damage, but does have a CLEAN TITLE. Overall aside from the fire damage, the car is in MINT condition. 100% RUST FREE. Interior is also MINT. *5.0L V8 2005 CLK500 motor swapped 2 years ago with only 55k miles on the engine *Has $2000 (2) Piece RARE Mercedes Staggered wheels (MINT) *KYB shocks with Eibach Lowering springs *Real nice BFG KDW tires *New Brakes I bought it at an auction as a project to fix over the winter since it has a CLEAN title and the rest of the car is so clean but will have no time to get to it. Engine seems to be perfectly fine. The main issue is wiring harness. From looking at it, it'll need : *Hood, RF Fender, Windshield, engine harness, body harness, Wiper arm and some other little pieces which is the reason I bought it because most of the parts needed will be the same as regular W202 C-Class which parts are real cheap for the regular models. Since the wiring is all melted, engine can not be started, engine looks perfectly fine and I dont believe it was affected by the fire at all. Looks worse than it is, the black stuff on the engine is from melted wires...etc, engine will look perfectly fine when detailed. A few items worth noting that can't be gleaned from the pictures: This is a fantastic running and driving Mercedes; I have driven it home myself every day this week. It's sporty and has a great feel to it. The driver's power mirror doesn't work but can be adjusted manually. The LCD displays in the dashboard frequently appear to have pixels out, including the odometer display. At other times, the odometer displays all pixels perfectly. I have included pictures of both scenarios. It is counting accurately. The auto A/C is very cold and effective. The cruise control works. The key is a brand-new-from-Mercedes newer style key. Nice looking and great running car. With only 125k miles, the car has lots of life left. The engine runs quite, strong and fast. The transmission shfits smoothly. No leaks, no warning lights on dash. AC and heat work fine as well as sound system. As can be seen in photos, the car is clean, esp for it's age. The brakes and tires are new. Also new headliner has been installed.
