This car was built from a almost new 900 mile victim of a rear end collision. The owner/builder was an Industrial Arts teacher and has rebuilt 150 victims in his spare time. . He did them all in a professional safe manner. He's sectioning a 1940 LaSalle convertible at the moment, where as most people might be sitting back with their feet up watching TV. The wagon was made by using a Sable roof and hatch, was well thought out before the first cut was made. The missing trim on right quarter panel is in the car and glues on. The only known rust is on right front fender. See all of the pictures. The car/wagon also comes with the original set of aluminum wheels with good rubber as well as the wheels you see in the photos. A new battery will be installed for the new owner. Here is your chance to own a unusual custom car at the right price and enjoy for at least 100,000 more miles. It's amazing how many people spot it, knowing that Mercury didn't make a wagon in 1999. You'll never see another one like this !!! Take it to Cruise Night's, car shows or drive the crap out of it. Next for sale is a really clean 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with 73,000 miles. A recent tune up and oil change, new battery and new intake manifold are included. There are a few superficial rubs on the bumper and the interior is really pretty clean without damage or repairs. The leather shows some wear on the driver's seat and less on the passenger's. The back seat looks like is saw little use. Under the hood is dusty from sitting for the last few months. The repairs that took it off the road have been made and the car runs great. There are no engine lights on and the air blows cold. Everything seems to work. I think it could use a good cleaning, tires and shocks to make it a comfortable, safe and reliable daily driver. The car belongs to a friend, who only drove it a few thousand miles before parking it with need of repair. His recent illness prevents him from fixing the car, so it sat for a few more months. He needed help putting it back on the road. So, the intake manifold was professionally replaced yesterday and now it's for sale. A $500 deposit via paypal is due within 24 hours and balance is due in a week. You will have two weeks to pick up, unless you have talked to me about other arrangement. This is a low mileage, three owner car that has been maintained and garaged all of it's life. Original owner died and the car was donated to a local charity.
