Cars like this are typically reserved for nice weather play and while time has passed and Pontiac is no longer with us, this car represents the top-of-the-line performance machine from the Excitement Division and it still delivers on every front with a nasty turbocharged engine that really brings the thunder. The bright white paint is in great condition and makes the potent WS6 look clean and unassuming. The WS6 added a bunch of performance upgrades, including the ram air hood, which added two snorkels to the Trans Am's already intake-covered fascia. Folding headlights, round fog lamps up front, ground effects, and a cool 1-piece wing out back were all included, and they give Pontiac's top performer a very aggressive look. The paint on this car is original, which means it's 16 years old, but you can see that this car has been loved its entire life and someone probably spent a lot of Saturday afternoons cleaning, polishing, and detailing the bodywork. It has not been wrecked and it's certainly never been a winter car, so it's clean and straight. Both doors close with a reassuring THUNK and the hood and rear hatch fit quite well. Even the large Firebird nose cone and urethane rear bumper are tight and uncracked, a testament to careful living. And with the black T-tops and tinted glass, the car takes on a fighter plane look that's still very appealing. Pontiac built some of the best driver's compartments in the performance business, with deeply sculpted power bucket seats that really hold you in place. The leather upholstery is in very good condition with only light signs of wear, and everything else looks fresh. The carpets are protected by matching floor mats and the door panels don't even show a mark from the driver's elbow resting on the sill. You'd expect a car with T-tops to have some UV damage, but not this one; the dash, the console, and all the soft parts are still in great shape. The gauges are big, bright, and easy to read, and there are auxiliary gauges along the A-pillar to monitor the boosted engine's vitals. There's also a thumping stereo system with dual 10-inch SDX Audio subwoofers in the trunk that work in conjunction with the factory AM/FM/CD head unit. The factory LS1 engine was a great performer in its day, but today you need more to compete with the 500+ horsepower factory offerings. With that in mind, this car sports a Squire rear-mounted turbocharger that pushes boost through a Weiand aluminum intake manifold. The LS1 shrugs off the boost, and cranks out a serious low-end torque hit that's intoxicating. The setup is a little unconventional but you can't argue with its effectiveness. Power is channeled through a 6-speed manual gearbox and in sixth gear, it just loafs along, munching on boost, always ready to fly. The WS6 suspension is up to the task of all that extra horsepower and it's been fitted with giant 20-inch wheels and 275/35/20 Nitto radials. The highly-desirable WS6 paired with a turbo makes for a serious performance machine. The turbo setup alone cost a substantial fraction of the asking price, making this Trans Am one heck of a performance bargain. Up for sale is a very nice 1999 Pontiac Trans am WS6 Formula Edition  From what I know these are very rare. and only a few were pulled off the line for both the Formula and WS6 Package. I have not personally owned this car for a long period of time. I actually got it in a trade on another one of  my cars The car is lightly modified. I know for sure it has the following modifications: Full Exhaust Headers Larger Injectors Hurst Short Shifter Upgraded Camshaft I was told the engine was re-built recently but I have no paperwork on it. You can tell the block has been painted so it has been replaced or rebuilt at some point. The T-Tops do not leak, Everything Electrical seems to work. Sometimes it's hard to open the rear hatch without someone back there opening it. The interior is maybe a 5 our of 10. both seats have tears and the bezel around the radio is broken which I may replace The car has C6 Corvette Wheels, Good Tires and new brakes all around. The transmission shifts good. Sometimes its hard to get into reverse but that is normal the the hurst shifter. So that makes this coupe desirable well beyond its LS1 V8 and extremely affordable price. This has always been a true collector's car from day one, so it's great to see that the previous three owners all treated it that way. In fact, there were only 1,065 coupes built total. The special 30th anniversary package started with an Arctic White Trans Am with the WS6 performance package (you can tell by that cool aggressive ram air scoop in the front.) Then some very unique striping was added from hood to tail. At the request of the first owner, the dealer only installed part of the Daytona 500 Pace Car decals on this car to make the car more tasteful and appealing. If desired, these side stripes can be removed by the next owner. It's hard not to love this white leather interior, especially when its carefully maintained. The white Prado bucket seats even come with commemorative anniversary stitching in the headrest. These anniversary cars on came one way loaded. This includes features such as power windows, power seats, power locks, cruise control, keyless entry, steering wheel mounted controls, Monsoon AM/FM/CD changer stereo, and air conditioning. The last one is especially nice because you can keep the car ice cold even with the T-tops out. Beyond just luxury features, a modern classic also means modern safety. So you get items like dual airbags and anti-lock brakes. And just in case all of this was not enough to convince you of how special this virginal white Pontiac is, there is a commemorative plaque with the car's sequential number just ahead of the stick shift. Under the hood is the 320 hp LS1 fuel-injected V8 that this special edition has always had from day one. In fact, the entire engine bay looks like a fresh time capsule. The lightweight all-aluminum powerhouse eclipses just about every other muscle car powerplant of the era, and it'll return better than 25 miles per gallon on the open road. This car is like new, show it or drive and enjoy. There are a few updates made to the car. The targa top or roof behind the ttops has been replaced for the dreaded sail panel bubbles. Just google if you haven't heard about it. This is a big and expensive problem with theses cars starting in 1998. The rims have been redone stripped buffed and clear coated to remove the wheel weight marks on the outside. New tires and the wheel weights put on the inside with sticky weights. The headlight motors strip the plastic gears, so metal gears have been installed. The door panels seem to crack on these cars as well. In 2003-04 I replaced both door panels with original gm replacements ($1000). I am the second owner, I bought the car in 2000. Is is garage kept with a car cover (included) and in a heated garage. Never seen snow and barely seen rain. This car has not been modified. It is stock except for the crossed drilled and slotted rotors. I was looking for American made and used these. And the exhaust which is a Borla with adjustable plates for sound and exhaust tips. It has a factory alarm system and monsoon stereo.

1999 Pontiac Trans Am 30th Anniversary convertible. This is the last Trans Am anniversary edition to be produced. Pontiac produced only 1600 of these cars with only 535 of them being convertibles. This car sports a white exterior with 17 inch light blue alloy wheels. It is equipped with Pontiac's WS6 performance package which includes suspension upgrades and Ram Air induction system. This car boosts 320 horsepower. I purchased this car approximately 10 years ago from a private seller on ebay. He purchased the car after a rear end collision and reconstructed it. The title reflects this. The car has less than 36000 miles and has been garage kept. I am selling the car as is and have listed the defects to the best of my knowledge. They are as follows: Scratch on drivers side headlight cover (see pic), small crack to both upper door panels (I'm told this is very common with this model), 2 small burn holes in center roof (they are NOT through the convertible top) and the plastic seat belt holder on the drivers side has broke off. This does not affect the performance of the seat belt. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close and full payment in 7 days from auction close.
