2000 Lexus SC 300, less than 55,000 miles. Clean CarFax. I acquired the car from the original owner's agent in Hallandale Beach, FL, last August after a three year search, and I have enjoyed it for less than 6,000 miles since. Unfortunately, a job change forces this sale. I have added some tasteful updates: Kenwood sound system with Garmin navigation, backup camera, Bluetooth for hands-free phone, DVD, HD radio, as well as HDMI input and USB; HID halo headlights with LED parking lights, new Drag 33 18" "Virtual Chrome” wheels and new Yokohama tires. Maintenance items recently accomplished include new front brakes, new master cylinder, new battery, K&N air filter, new cabin filters, silicone wiper blades, and new trunk struts. Everything works as it should from the power antenna to the A/C, and everything in-between. I also have the original 16" wheels, lugs, caps, and tires, all in good condition. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer one. Nonetheless, it is a 15 year old car, not perfect, but still, very, very nice. Lexus only produced 581 in 2000. They are reflections from the clouds you can also see on the hood. If you need more proof and are a "serious" buyer, happy to send more pics of those areas. So here is the deal. You will not be disappointed with this vehicle. This thing is in phenomenal shape for a 2000 vehicle. I have garage kept. Right now my garage is getting full, so this is now in driveway with an expensive new 5 layer car cover on it. IF this vehicle goes for my asking price, this $175 car cover will be included and used for the transport. The ride is tight and just like brand new and you won't believe the handling and condition for this age. The 1992-2000 had the classic lines that draws attention. People see the car and would never believe it's a 2000. The Interior is immaculate with everything working PERFECTLY and AC very cold. No maintenance needed. I fell in love when I first saw a 1992 SC300 back in 1991. They originally started retail > $60K and out of my range but I promised myself I would get one one day. In 1996 I bought my dads 1992 and just loved it. This was the first year the SC300 was made. I later found this beautiful 2000 (black/black) and was in love again with all the features I had wished the 1992 had, but the same beautiful body lines since they hadn't changed. So now I have both. For now, selling the 2000 only and the 1992 will likely follow. If you have ANY familiarity with this classic Lexus Model then you know how rare it is to find the most desirable and beautiful black exterior with black interior. I have seen many other Lexus pull up at lights and tell me they love my car and that they used to have one but wished they had black and black. Being a 2000 means it is the last year of this model line and the one with all the best features. If you are serious and in my price range, I would be happy to take the time to take more pictures of anything you want so you are comfortable with what you are getting. Remember, you are getting the last year this model was made in the most desirable color of black and black. I'm in my 50's so I do not drive it aggressively. No body rust issues! NOTE: You will find that this vehicle does have a rebuild/salvage title, but it is very important to understand the backstory. This vehicle was never actually "totaled" from a mechanical perspective. The vehicle owner owned a salvage company and he was in a minor accident with front end damage in which the airbag was never even deployed. Evidently, the owner convinced the insurance company to total the vehicle and pay him out so he bought another vehicle. The owner contacted the insurance company to determine where the vehicle was being sold because he wanted to buy it back. The vehicle was instead sent to Buffalo for Auction. The owner then called a friend also in the salvage business in Buffalo to give him the backstory and heads up on this vehicle that it was a true gem with non "total" type damage. Ron, the local Buffalo guy bought this. Ron drove this for 2 summers after having the front bumper, bumper supports, fog lights, head lights and grill all replaced with new. He drove this car for 2 years as his summer car before he sold it to me. I had seen this car for the 2 years he had it because I have a 1992 SC300 as well. I begged him for 2 years to sell it to me. Finally he did in 2012. I have driven it for 3 years (no winters) and put on 34K miles. So long story short, don't let the "Rebuild/Salvage" title fool you into thinking this had any major issues whatsoever. If you are willing to pay for it, I am very willing to bring it to my local Lexus dealer and they can put it on lift and do an ENTIRE inspection and review to validate this. I had the A/C redone, $1200. I put new Michelin tires and new Factory Lexus aluminum 16 inch alloy wheels at a cost of $2000 Less than 500 miles ago. The pinstripping was painted on, no tape.
