Well-loved Subaru Forester S with a clean Michigan title. The interior is in excellent condition, including heated seats, heated windshield bays, rear window defroster, all floor mats. Upholstery is in excellent condition. Engine was just rebuilt in 2013, transmission is good, parking brake replaced in 2014. MP3/Aux/CD/Radio new installed in 2013.There is a small dent at hinge of front passenger door that makes for a noisier ride, but the door closes fine. Needs a new key fob (otherwise alarm is easy to set - and set off!). AC doesn't work - there's a leak in the system. Needs new tires. The main issue is that the undercarriage is very rusty (it started it's life in Chicago where they use WAY too much salt on the roads). There is a rear wheel bearing going out (very noisy) and needs to be replaced. I brought it to three shops and nobody would do the job because they were afraid that the rust wouldn't hold and they'd be bolting to nothing... I had to get back to work in NorCal and didn't have the time to deal with it. If you have the time or know-how, be my guest! Otherwise, this has TONS of good parts! It's still drivable, but I don't know how far I'd go on that wheel bearing, and I definitely wouldn't drive it over 55mph, just to be on the safe side with that. Just under 140k miles. Just did an oil change with the Mobil1 "10,000 miles between changes" oil - probably about 2000 miles ago, now. Can provide maintenance history upon request. Trying to get this sold as soon as possible. Any reasonable offer will be considered.
