It's time for me to sell one of my GC on hand. Did quite some work to it since I purchase it from a guy about 1.5 years ago. It is a 2000 2.5rs coupe with 03 WRX swapped, dynoed and pushing 230+whps, tuned at E-spec in Long Island. It is a 5M/T stock tranny, A/C was deleted due to the swap, sitting on a set of generic 17 inch alloy rims. It has 03 WRX seat front and back. Paint job was recently done about 3 months ago. All the rusted part was taken care of (hope you can see it from the photo). Engine bay was painted green by previous owner (I don't know why). That's about the general description that I can think of. Now let me mention some bad parts (I am trying to be as specific as I can)The power steering pump is leaking. I was going to replace it, but too busy with my other GC that I am working on). Passenger side mirror was broken, but I do have spare one from my donor car). When the car started cold, it does have some squeaking sound when you turn the steering wheel, once it's warmed up, it's fine (was told that it's the power steering issue).That's about it. I am the second owner of the vehicle, title in hand, I purchased the vehicle 4 years ago when it had roughly 38,000 miles on it. As of now the vehicle now has 53,883 so I've only put around 4000 miles a year on the car since its been in my possession. The original owner spec'd this particular model with the aftermarket Subaru SPT performance exhaust as well as SPT short shifter kit. Also the previous owner had the windows tinted 35% all the way around (except the windshield). I have tried to baby this car as much as possible since it has been in my possession, since I've owned the car it has never been through automated car wash. I only used the three bucket wash method when washing the vehicle and waxed the car 2-3 times a year. Also the car was garage kept most of the 4 years and stored in a garage during the winter months. I took the car out of storage last month and fully detailed and had the paint professionally compounded and waxed by a local shop so there are no streaks, or spider cracks/scratches what so ever. The wheels on the vehicle are currently plasti dipped a bronze color to protect the surface of the wheels, but because it is plastic dip thats why it seems that the finish is bubbling. I will include picture of the wheels with their original finish so the buyer knows how the wheels will look when the plasti dip is removed. I have tried the modify the car in a very tasteful and balanced manner. Since in my possession the car has been tuned using a Cobb V2 accessport (included in the sale), BC BR coilover suspension with adjustable ride hight and 32 way adjustable dampers has been added. The front brake assembly has been replaced with a Wilwood 6 piston Big Brake Kit, the wheels are limited edition Work Emotion XD9 size 18x10 factory finished in a rare matte blue. The car is riding on 265/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza S04 tires with no rubbing at full lock even over harsh bumps. All of the fenders and quarter panels were pulled and rolled with chipped paint only on one of the fenders ( this is due to a poorly recommend body shop, once I saw how they messed up the original fender I took the car to another shop, The chipped paint is only seen under close inspection), finally the car has a CNT racing catless stainless steel downpipes with a ceramic bell mouth, CS style polyurethane front splitter to protect the bumper from scraping, and GFB (Go Fast Bits) recirculating adjustable blow off valve. Also included with the sale of the car is the original suspension, original downpipe, rubber and cloth floor mats, as well as the stock wheels wrapped in Bridgestone potenza all season tires with less than 2000 miles of use. All of these parts have been stored in a dry and well kept garage. Nothing has been changed on the interior and I would rate it a 9/10 just because the vehicle is no longer new. The paint on the vehicle is in much better condition than when it was new but I will rate it a 8/10 because of the chipping on the fender and imperfections on the front bumper from kicked up rocks etc. mechanically and electronically not a thing is broken on the car or is there any hints of future issues. The car has always been serviced at a Subaru dealership and has not missed a needed service. The last service done on the car was the 50,000 mile oil change and service. This car has been nothing but great for me, just time to move onto something different, do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns about the vehicle. For sale: I am selling my doll of a silver 2005 Subaru WRX STI project car in its “as is” condition.” I have a lot work and parts into her and understand that I will nowhere near get my money back, but I just cannot give her away either. She has a base tune so she will start, idles solid, and can be driven around the block. I believe that she needs the vacuum system sorted out better. I had no idea what to do with the system and added 2 catch cans as a fix, however, feel there's a better way. She needs the IAT bung welded into the intake post turbo as she is set up for speed density at the moment. As for the interior and exterior; wiring for the gauges, exhaust, front inner fenders and bumper need installed. Her tires are old and will need replaced. I am asking $15,000 OBO.
