Please e-mail and inquire about this awesome vehicle. I'm sad to let it go as I have been the only owner (along with my Dad). Up for sale is my fully functional 2001 Isuzu Trooper 4x4 Sport with 136k miles. Automatic w/ 4 wheel drive and torque on demand system. This car has plenty of power and a really nice 4x4 system. MPG 15/19, 215HP, 3.5L V6. Seats 5 with room to spare for a dog and more in the back. I've never smoked. I have had a dog in the back less than 5 times. I added a Thule Roof Rack, which has given me no issues since I installed it a couple years ago. It is included in auction, at least a $300 value. It is still in use about daily, so actual mileage may be higher. This is a very practical / good SUV with plenty of space in the back. STEREO / NAV / GPS I wired / installed a wicked awesome Kenwood DVD / Audio / Rear-Back up camera with integrated Garmin Navigation and GPS receiver back in ~2009. In entirety this system was worth about $1500. It has been working ever-since and really makes backing up nice. I updated the maps again in about 2012, and if you want to get new maps you can from Garmin and there is an SD card slot to update it with. I believe the updates are under $100. By the way, I grounded the wire that says you're in park so if your passengers want to enter an address or watch a DVD on the highway...... MAINTENANCE Inspection good through the spring. I have taken good care of this vehicle and have kept maintenance records. I check the oil every 2-3 weeks, and top it off if ever needed. We have used Mobil-1 synthetic oil every 5-10k miles. Up until 2 weeks ago, I have done everything the shop ever recommended. I recently replaced the exhaust from engine to muffler to tail-pipe. It has new spark plugs and a new starter as of early December. This is not the original transmission. This transmission is working fine and transmission fluid flushed in the last year. KNOWN GRIPES (I'm honest, will portray this vehicle as accurately as possible. It is sold as-is): - Some significant scratches in right door/paint - seen in picture - Shocks are original and need replacing in next year ($500), not urgent, but would make ride smoother. It's a good ride right now. - Left front halfshaft worn - see picture, functions fine now. - Gas tank with some corrosion (see picture). Not leaking. I was going to replace and already paid $600 deposit for OEM gas tank. $600 pending balance to finish replacement. I can transfer $600 balance at Big Al's Mufflers to buyer, included in sale. Gas tank is not leaking, I just noted corrosion and was going to replace ahead of time. See picture. - Damage history: front end collision approximately 2012. Required significant sheet metal repair. For this I put "salvage" title because it was rebuilt. Running fine afterwards though.

I'm selling my 2001 isuzu trooper. I've owned this vehicle for approx 5 years and outside of normal maintenance like oil changes and brakes i've never had any issues with it. It does have a few scratches and dings, and the molding on the passenger side front wheel well is loose due to a blow out tire. Also i have recently noticed an exhaust smell in the rear of the vehicle. Not sure where its coming from. Originally the truck is from oklahoma (where i purchased it) and relocated here in NJ to assist family and friends hit by hurricane Sandy back in 2012. When i purchased the truck it had 116000, and now 146054. I have become disabled and i'm no longer able to drive is the reason i'm selling my truck. I'm not able to deliver or ship it. Pick up only. Truck is no longer registered or insured and has been sitting in my yard for the last 6 months or so. 1-2 times a week it has been started and ran for maybe 10-15 minutes to let the fluids circulate. It has seen very little use since, only a few thousand miles. It was in occasional use until a few years ago. Good ground clearance, full body on ladder-frame, independent front suspension, fuel-injected engine, excellent throttle and clutch action, relatively light, and fuel economy of well over 20MPG when driven carefully. When in low-low, the crawl ratio is very good for a stock SUV. This is a "real truck", not a glorified car or minivan, like many newer "SUVs" The body has some rust, but has been repaired when necessary (new steel welded in and repainted). Fully undercoated. The rockers were cut out and replaced with welded-in heavy-wall square steel tubing, and wooden nerf pads screwed to the sides of this tubing. Years ago, there were some small rust holes in the tubular frame rails, but they were repaired with the "fish plate" method. The snowplow is a 6-1/2 foot Meyer with electric-hydraulic power lift and angle. The plow frame on the vehicle was custom made to fit it. Two complete sets of tires wheels!: 4 nicely-repainted OEM steel wheels with all-terrain tires with VERY little tread wear (not shown). 4 OEM steel wheels from a newer Nissan pickup truck, with 4 Bridgestone Winter Dueler snow tires in good condition (on the truck now). The interior came from a 1991 Trooper of a higher trim level, and is in good condition. Known problems: The return line from the power steering box is leaking significantly around where it threads into the box. We don't know if the fitting is damaged/rusted, or if the leak comes from the PS box itself. The plow raises and lowers normally, but sticks when a power angle adjustment is attempted. The hydraulic cylinders move slightly, so it may be that one of the angle solenoids is stuck or faulty. No other significant issues that we know of. The engine block was rebuilt some time before we bought it. We replaced the cylinder head with a new aftermarket head in 2001, after the notoriously failure prone OEM head cracked. The engine runs very well. Not currently registered, but we have a clear New York title in hand TERMS OF SALE: As-Is, Where Is A deposit of $500 must be received via PayPal or cash in person within 24 hours of a sale.
