This near $80,000.00 when new Jaguar XK8 is the first year of the superb 300 Horsepower 4.2 V8 mated to a 6 speed ZF transmission which gives more power and better MPG than the previous 4.0 V8. THE XK8 to have!!! The 4.2 Liter XK8 is really the one to own. An absolute pleasure. This car has been inspected by my 25 year veteran Jaguar ASE tech. and found to be mechanically and electrically superb. We have just replaced the rear struts/shocks and the front shock mounts (so you won't have to) at a cost of around $1,500.00. (very common repair on an XK8) The car drives tightly, solidly and sharply. We also went ahead and gave the car a full electronic 4 wheel road force alignment. The car tracks true! We replaced both door latch micro switches (that control the window drop clearing the top) so you don't have to. This car is in great condition throughout and is a tribute to its previous owners!!! The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and all electrical components, including the convertible top operate as they should. The convertible top itself is in excellent condition. Very nice condition, with only 68,786 well maintained miles. This has been my weekend and go to the golf course car for the last few years. My wife and I are retired in a resort area in northwest Iowa/southern Minnesota and drive it on nice days only. The paint and body are in excellent shape and the color combination is understated class with silver blue body, navy top, ivory and beige interior. The car has 3 keys, 2 fobs, books, boot cover with bag, spare, jack etc. The interior looks like a new car, the body is very nice with a clear bra on the front so no rock chips. The top is near perfect, the tires are good to go for a long time. I have had zero trouble with this car in 2 years and about 10,000 miles. I purchased the car from the Victory/Indian motorcycle dealer in Elizabethtown PA. I live in the Spirit Lake area where Victory/Indian are manufactured. My next door neighbor was very high up with Polaris and told me about the car. I have the car checked over at every oil change (every 3000 miles with synthetic) I would be happy for you to speak with the service center that has serviced it for me if you are a truly interested party. They had recently replaced the horologic pump and lines for the convertible top, all the maintenance and preventive maintenance has always been done on time and in the 4 years I've had the car I've replaced the coolant delivery system including all plastic, metal and hoses as well as the Expansion tank.
