This 2002 Saturn SL1 four door stick shift has been owned and maintained by an ASE Certified mechanic since it was new. The hood is a little dinged up and rusty, and the back door sills are rusty, as with all Saturns. The car runs and drives great. Has lots of new parts: brakes, struts, bearings, exhaust, etc. Gets an average of 35 MPG. The car is in good condition, drives really well, and everything works properly. I had a car hit my right side fender, so it was replaced with another fender but there was no damage acquired internally or to the car it self besides the fender and the right side of the hood. I replaced the right side fender with one that differs slightly in color as you can see in the pictures. The radio works, speakers can't go too loud with out becoming static. Tires are pretty much new, so is the battery, and radiator. It has been tuned up to be in good condition.

'02 SL1, Good condition, with 209,000 miles. 1.9L SOHC, automatic transmission. Actual 34 mpg hwy, 26 city. Cold A/C, good tires. $1499 or best offer. This is my daughter's car, used to commute to UWF in Pensacola every day for the past 2 years, 140 miles round trip. She got married and moved to Hawaii, so I'm selling the car for her. I have a valid Power of Attorney to sell the car. Body is good, brakes replaced in 2012 including new rotors and calipers. Stereo works fine. Rear seat back lays down in 60/40 configuration to open into the trunk. It's big enough to sleep the average person or two if you ran out of gas in the middle of the night in an area without cell coverage. HERE"S THE DETAILS MOST PEOPLE WON"T TELL YOU: Transmission rebuilt in late 2013 at 169,000 miles, and new transmission valve body will not shift into overdrive. Other gears work fine, and still capable of maintaining 70 mph and getting 34 mpg at that speed. After fighting with the transmission shop for 3 months, they refunded my money and told me to keep the transmission. I replaced the valve body myself with a re-manufactured valve body in mid 2014, and it still won't shift into overdrive. Other than that, it runs very well. Without the O/D, my daughter got a consistent 34-35 mpg on her commute, without fail. (She just had to slow from 80 mph to 70 mph on the interstate) :-) Car has an annoying buzz at idle when stopped and in gear with the A/C on that sounds like it's coming from the exhaust shield near the catalytic converter. Has to be at the right low rpm in gear and stopped to buzz, though. For a Saturn with 209K miles, this car is in very good condition, but I rated it as only Good because of the trans overdrive issue. The car may be seen and test driven only by a licensed driver, by appointment. I need to sell this, so make an offer. The car may be seen at Resurrection Anglican Church in Shalimar, Florida.
