2002 Volkswagen Eurovan Weekender Pop-Top 115,000 miles/185,000 kms 2.8 VR6 Engine It is with extreme reluctance that I offer a much beloved 2002 Westfalia for sale. I am a fanatic of older German cars and have had a life-long passion for VW campers. The van has never seen winter, has only been highway driven and maintained meticulously with up to date service (synthetic oil only). It is in excellent rust-free mechanical and physical shape. The original paint is virtually flawless and the interior even smells new. The interior shows no signs of fading whatsoever; this vehicle has spent the majority of its life indoors. The undercarriage has been regularly rust-proofed at Krown and is spotless and easy to service as a result. All seats look and support as if they were absolutely brand new. Service over the years has been performed by Bytek Volkswagen in Ottawa then Don Valley Volkswagen and Chris Symes at S&S Motors in Toronto (Euro specialists). All original books come with the vehicle and most of the service history is in the file with complete details available for the past three years. The van needs no conversion work for U.S. registration; even the speedometer is already in kilometers and miles. To the best of my knowledge it also shouldn’t require any work for safety certification in any jurisdiction; the tires have about 80% tread remaining, the rotors and brakes have very few miles on them. Additional features: - VW factory tow package including flat multi-pin trailer lighting cable that appears to be virtually unused - VW mudflaps - VW dealer installed rear parking sensors - UV block tinted windows - A full set of after-market German louvered window inserts for secure, rain-free ventilation from the front and side windows when parked or camping (pictured unmounted in trunk) - Built in 12-CD changer - Dash-mounted VW fold down shelf/cup holder - One year old front VW Eurovan-specific soft rubber mats - All weather carpet mat for rear passenger floor (not pictured) - Clear 3M scuff guards installed and like new on both front door thresholds A few items to point out: - This is not a brand new vehicle; are a few light marks in places thanks to less conscientious folk in parking lots and very minor chips on the front from highway travel. - As pictured, the upper tent has some easily repairable issues where the front panel has been, unfortunately, pinched by the pop-top closing mechanism. - At some point the previous owner (I am the second) had a valance mounted over the side door. When the valance was removed, the screw holes were sealed with silicone. These are barely noticeable and would be covered if a new valance were to be installed. The Eurovan MV Weekender is one of the most versatile vehicles ever produced. In addition to the purely recreational capabilities of the van, I often used to sit (and buckle up) in the back and do hours of work with my laptop on the table while my wife drove on long trips (see photo), using my phone as a wifi hotspot and an inverter plugged into one of the rear 12v jacks for power. VW vans may not often be thought of as mobile business centers, but that’s exactly what they can be when you need them to!

Eurovan MV 7 passanger van with 133,141 miles. Has ice cold A/C in front and rear as well as great heater for those cold winter nights. Climatronic temp controls in front and rear with dual zones keeps everyone happy. This Eurovan has great seat layout including easily removable jump seats as well as removable bench. Seats in great shape as I always have seat covers on. Van is super roomy. Lloyd rubber mats in front and rear. Rear bench folds into a bed. Great storage in trunk and under the rear bench. This model is is the 24v VR6 engine (2001-2003) with 201hp vs the 12v VR6 (1997-2000) with 140hp. All maintenance done by myself using oem parts and fluids. Rear shocks were replaced in 2011 with Bilstein absorbers. Stereo upgraded to a Volkswagen Volk-L Bluetooth stereo. It is a double din unit and I imported the stereo and trim piece for the a/c controls. Has MP3 CD and aux input as well. All speakers are upgraded to Infinty brand. LED overhead lights light up the night. I have all curtains and rear hatch screen perfect for car camping. Also including the full front OEM Bra. Installed are Euro-style tail lights (have originals as well) and a rear protective bumper strip from Europe. Purchased hitch for the van and never finished installing, included with sale. I also added a transmission dipstick from the Winnebego Rialta to easily check transmission fluid. Also has a Viper alarm.

The interior looks great and the exterior is in great condition for a 14 year old car. Mechanically, we have had no issues whatsoever which is pretty common with VW's VR6 engine. There are a few dents on the back from bumping into pole in a parking lot and the passenger side window stopped rolling down a few months ago, and there is a small rust spot by the front window, but overall this is a really clean vehicle. These vans are pretty hard to find in good condition, and we have absolutely loved the time we've had with it, but we are willing to sell to the right buyer.
