FOR SALE: 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4 Supercab XLT with the 4.0L V6 engine and automatic transmission. Runs and drives excellent, 141k miles, 4x4 works, A/C is cold, and heater works. Body is solid and no rust. There are a few dents on both sides and some scratches. Overall I would say the truck is in good to fair condition. Right now as it sits it doesn't need anything that I know of. Will make someone a nice cheap truck. I have the Ranger for sale locally, so I may end the listing early. In the past 10k miles, we have installed a new starter, timing cover gaskets, timing chain gear set, water pump, front brake pads/rotors/calipers/brake lines, rear brake shoes and wheel slave cylinders, connecting rod/alignment, windshield, carb rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, with new torque converter, universal joints, valve cover gaskets, shocks, alternator, belts, radiator, thermostat, radiator hoses, heater hoses, wheels and tires, heater control valve, exhaust system, horn relay, steering column, battery, complete tune up including PCV valve, distributor cap/rotor, timing adjusted, heater core, ignition control module, ignition pick up coil, and complete fluid service plus much more! The truck was repainted 2003. Known issues are: There is a small oil leak, when it sits for several weeks, I notice a silver dollar size oil drop on the driveway. The main fuel tank does not work, when switched, the truck runs for a minute, then dies. The A/C does not work. There is a small rust hole in the bed. The paint is thin in areas, at a distance, it is presentable. The steering wheel has cracks. The passenger side header leaks. The original seat has a tiny hole on the drivers side. The carpet is faded. There are nicks, and scratches around and inside the truck. This is a nice classic original truck, that with a little work, could be a really nice truck for show, or play. I would recommend having the truck inspected at the buyers expense. There are several shops around me that can do this. There is not slop in the steering, and does not pull when braking. The truck shifts like it should, without slipping. Just a nice driving older Ford truck!
