I'm selling my 2003 GMC Yukon Denali XL, with 158,900 miles for $7,500/offer. I Just had a complete transmission overhaul done in the last 10 miles, and it drives like a dream. I love this car and took excellent care of it, and am selling because I no longer have need - I walk or bike for most everything now, and also have another vehicle. I am the second owner, purchasing in March of 2008 from Copple Chevrolet in Louisville where nearly all the servicing since new has been done. Since I've owned it, the car has spent the past several years in the garage with about half of that being complete storage with no driving and regular starts. This car is fully loaded and in near pristine condition inside and pretty good condition on the outside. It is Aztec Gold in color with dark tinted windows that do well to cut out the sunlight from harming the interior or heating up the car. The rear hatch emblems have been removed, and the front GMC logo replaced with a brushed aluminum logo. This car comes equipped with an amazing Viper security system with remote keyless entry and remote start with tons of features. I also still have the original AM/FM Cassette radio that can be re-installed and hooked up to the 6 disc changer that came with it.Since purchasing the vehicle new, I have taken great care and done all necessary major mechanical fixes. I have only put 65,300 miles on the vehicle - most of which are highway/interstate miles - and in that time I have regularly maintained the vehicle, some major things include:UPDATE: While being test driven today (1/31) the check engine light came on. I had it diagnosed and it needs a simple tune up (spark plugs, wires, etc.) I will be taking care of that as soon as I can. Also, the remote start stopped working. It is under warranty, and have a scheduled appointment on 2/12 to have it checked out. I will make sure it is fixed for any new owner as the warranty applies to original purchaser only.12/14/2016 - 158,890 miles - Complete transmission rebuild/overhaul, with all new parts, including new shift cable5/29/2016 - New Serpentine belt and AC belt10/20/2013 - 149,776 miles - Replaced both rear brake discs, both rear brake rotors, and Right rear Caliper3/29/12 - 141,501 miles - Replaced ALL 4 tires with Goodyear Wrangler AT/S, mounted and balanced, with two new factory alloy rims as well. These tires were replaced then the car mostly garaged, they have approximately 17,400 miles on them, with plenty of life left.3/7/11 - 129515 miles - Serviced/Cleaned the Mass Air Flow Sensor and replaced Air Filter, Replaced the Right Lower Ball Joint, Replaced Left Front Axle Seal and Diff Pinion Seal, 4 wheel Alignment, and Replaced Front Left Wheel with Factory Alloy Rim2/15/10 - Installed Viper 5301 Security System and Remote Start w/ADS Combo Door lock Bypass. This Remote Start system has up to 1000 ft range for starting/unlocking the doors. Two way remote to alert you of doors locking/unlocking, vehicle starting, alarm going off, etc. It's fully integrated into the factory GM security system that completely kills the engine/transmission if the alarm is set for complete vehicle disabling. 11/11/09 - 110868 miles - Replaced Air Ride Suspension Compressor and Assembly, Replaced Internal Steering shaft8/7/09 - 108537 miles - Complete Braking System Replacement including: Replacing Front Brakes with Ceramic Disk Brake Pads, Both Front Brake Rotors, Both Rear Disk Brakes, Rotors, and Calipers. Flushed entire brake system and new fluidAs you can see I've taken care of the vehicle in every way. This car was my pride. There are a couple scuffs, dings, and minor dents on the exterior caused by parking in a garage, however there is no history of accident. I have plenty pictures of the vehicle. 2003 Yukon XL Denali that I swapped an LLY Duramax turbo diesel & Allison 1000 into. This combination was never offered from GM. They never brought their great Duramax Turbo Diesel engine into their full size SUV line-up. Yukon XL had 156k on it before the swap, and is in very respectable condition. Paint is metallic gray with light gray two tone interior. Exterior and interior of my Yukon is really nice. There are a few minor cosmetic blemishes, a few paint scratches and very minor dings, but overall the vehicle is in quite good shape. It is loaded like all the Denalis are, heated front and rear seats, power leather, DVD player, BOSE sound system, Dual-zone HVAC with rear A/C system, OnStar, XM, etc. This is a 2nd row bench configuration. The engine was out of a 2005 Silverado 2500HD, with 109k on it now. Same for the Allison transmission and 11.5" rear axle. I really took my time doing this swap, there was a lot of work involved. These Denali package Yukons come only as half tons, so I purchased a 3/4 ton frame to hold the Yukon and the Duramax together. This gives the vehicle a full 3/4 ton frame, suspension, axles & brakes so that it is truly capable of handling heavy loads the Duramax was designed to pull. The rear axle is from the Silverado, so it is the 11.5" GM 14-bolt full floating axle with a mechanical locker. This vehicle has already gone through a Washington state inspection and I have all paperwork in hand to transfer a free and clear title into the new owner's name. There is currently a small oil leak. I've just been too busy to look at it. These low mileage pre-2007 emissions diesels are getting tough to find. This Duramax has no DPF, no DEF fluid, no SCR. No emissions headaches to worry about. Just tons of power, excellent reliability and great mileage.Everything on this rig works, and works well. Seats 8 people in comfort, and would safely and easily tow 12k lbs up over the pass. A/C just recharged. Fuel economy on this rig is excellent, relatively speaking. With a conservative driver, expect about 15 in town, and 22 on the highway. I've been averaging about 19.5 on my work commute of a mix of stop and go and highway. Road trip steady cruising at 60-65mph, I've seen 24MPG. That's really good considering what this vehicle is capable of. This LLY Duramax is mostly stock and untouched. The only non-stock parts are a cold air intake, and a 4" exhaust. No software reprogramming has been done. Runs very well. Pulls strong just like it should. This is a very rare find. I've built a couple of these swaps, never on a Denali before. Serious inquiries only. This vehicle is located in Monroe, Washington state. For sale 2003 yukon Denali 6.0 Vortec v8 runs and drives good, clean carfax, needs minor TLC, clean title and clean vehicle. Issues are needs right rear window regulator, needs front bumper air bag sensor, needs rear window wiper motor and needs check engine p300 random misfire code diagnosed currently which I have had compression, fuel and engine scan tests all ran for this issue and we still cannot figure it out. I have put new plugs and wires in, had all coil packs tested, new fuel pressure regulator, new battery, new oil pressure sensor, new o2 sensor, new ac condenser pulley, rebuilt transmission, new sway bar linkage and new air filter and oil. Vehicle has 205xxx on it all original. Vehicle has all bells and whistles as it is a 2003 Gmc Yukon Denali. My wife and I are the happy second owners of this great truck but forced to sell because we are moving to Costa Rica in January. It is in very good condition. Our Denali has a clean carfax and has never been in an accident. In addition to all the luxury features that come standard we added a Navigation system & iPod / iPhone connection. * Note, A tree limb fell (years ago) on the roof above the rear passenger door. No seals/leaks or any problems resulted so we never fixed it.Driver seat has wear & tear which is very typical of a 12 year old vehicle. We spoke to a leather seat repair shop and they would replace the bottom portion of the drivers seat fabric for around $100. Tow package with tow capacity of 7000lbs October 15, 2015 we spent $2,225 on various fixes for the car (receipt pictured). The main cost was replacing the Air Traction Control Ride shocks and compressor. This drastically improved every aspect of feel and performance of the car. It now drives perfectly. We truly love this truck and it is in wonderful condition both inside and out.
