This car has been inspected by my 25 year veteran Jaguar ASE tech. and found to be mechanically and electrically superb. We have just replaced the rear struts/shocks and the front shock mounts (so you won't have to) at a cost of around $1,500.00. (very common repair on an XK8) The car drives tightly, solidly and sharply. We also went ahead and gave the car a full electronic 4 wheel road force alignment. The car tracks true! We replaced both door latch micro switches (that control the window drop clearing the top) so you don't have to. This car is in great condition throughout and is a tribute to its previous owners!!! The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and all electrical components, including the convertible top operate as they should. The convertible top itself is in excellent condition. ABSOLUTELY NO ACCIDENTS reported on this car !!!!! Please review the Autocheck history report. The full report can be provided upon request. The interior is in excellent and original condition!. A NON SMOKER. The Burl Walnut is in excellent condition. The walnut that the dash was cut from for this car has a particularly beautiful 'grain' to it. Check the photo's! You are bidding on a 2003 Jaguar XK8 Coupe. This car has been very well taken care of and is rated in very good-good condition (please see pictures for your own opinion). While there are some inconsistencies in the paint (as you might imagine on a 12 year old car) the car is still in overall good condition.There are NO mechanical issues that I know of. The front brakes were changed 5,000 miles ago, the tires have 300 miles on them, and the interior floorboard has LED lighting capable of 20+ different colors and 4 different display settings to have them fade, blink, stay on one color, and increase or decrease the brightness (please see pictures). Being that the car has 98,000 miles on it and its 12 years old, that comes out to only 8,250 miles per year. So; yes, this is a weekend car by both myself and the previous owner. Other than some wear marks on the drivers seat (please refer to the pictures) and some minor scratches on the paint, this car has been well taken care of. From Rain-X wipers, to cold-air intakes, to waxing every 6 months, to almost every interior light being upgraded to LED lighting (separate from the color changing LEDs on the floorboard), I have added as many subtle yet tasteful upgrades I could without straying from the classic XK8 look. In one pic of the passenger front fender well, you will notice some touch-up paint work has been done. I rarely notice it, but have gotten a quote to repaint it with Jaguar brand paint for $300. Other than that, no noticeable damage (please see pictures). The car runs great with NO mechanical issues as I ALWAYS use premium gas and occasionally additives to keep the internals clean and problem free. 2 months ago I replaces the cooling systems rubber hoses and re-taped and secured all of the wiring harness' as needed (please see pictures). The car has NO leaks and is overall in very good-good condition and the car has NEVER been wrecked.
