For what it is worth, I have never taken this off road. My property in Illinois is out in the country, and when it snows, the County doesn't grade my road for days, and my driveway is really long. I built this to be a super off road machine, but I really just needed 4 wheel drive to get out of the snow. It has always been on pavement. I live in Bay Farm Island, Alameda, CA. I just drove the car out here 2 weeks ago. I really hate selling it.You will notice that the plastic is off the front bumper in some pictures. I planned on installing Terra Firma Bumpers, front and rear, as well as a Terra Firma skid plate on the front. I never got around to it. When I decided to sell this rig, I put the plastic back on the bumper. In my opinion I would leave it off, as the tires will rub just slightly when articulated a lot. I drove the truck to California and it only rubbed a few times, when turning into high banked lots. It doesn't rub enough to damage the plastic or the tires. It just barely rubs the tall knobby tread. If you want the plastic removed, I can do it in about 45 minutes to an hour. It is super easy to remove. I prefer to have just the steel bumper and leave the plastic off. It looks tougher in my opinion. Lol.The following is a parts list of the build. I have thorough records, including a record book, shop manual, and all receipts. I planned on converting this truck to a 7 seater, so it includes all the necessary parts to do the conversion (see pics on flickr). This Vehicle is in great condition. The vehicle has one previous owner besides me. Vehicle was used for intern driving only, but is an excellent offload vehicle as well. It is equipted with AWD all the timed has one of the heaviest 4wd hi and low gears still to this day. It is tan leather with heated seats which are auto adjustable. It also has fold down third row seating as well with tons of room. This has been an amazing vehicle for me. I had after market drive shaft put in for off roading but never had the chance to use the vehicle for trailing. It also has an after market CD player in it (Kenwood), and all speakers are Bose. This is a rare 7 passenger model and comes loaded with leather, dual roof and lots of standard, luxury and safety features. This is a clean titled truck with no stories. Comes with a recent and valid Ontario Drive Clean report. The vehicle has been well kept for a 13 year old truck and it shows. This is the second last year of the Discovery in Canada and so it comes with the bigger and better 4.6 Liter V8 motor and the upgraded lights. The interior is very nice and free of any major wear and tear. No cracks or rips in the leather. The exterior is just as nice with no major rust, damage or wear. The engine runs smooth and very nice with great power. The rear air suspension is also in great working order! This truck has two sets of wheels: The original 18 inch you see pictures with not-so-good winter rubber. However, I have another set of 18 inch Land rover alloys with much better rubber mounted currently on the truck. So you get two sets of Land Rover wheels with this deal! The passenger side front window regulator is not working properly which is a common issue with these. The power steering has a leak and this truck will also need brakes for a safety inspection. Rover is in average condition for 175000 miles. Rear corner and right front rim has some damage as shown in the pictures. Service engine light is on along with some others. See picture of dash with lights on. Oil changes have been done by certified rover mechanic. Just had battery, o2 sensors, air filter, spark plugs, wires, fuel kit, crank position sensor, mass air, oil filter replaced. Last year had power steering pump replaced and cooling system and oil system flushed and replaced. Person I bought it from in 2013 had the heads rebuilt and lots of other things replaced. Has a clean car fax and title. Has a great stereo system with harmon kardon speakers and kicker subwoofers. Over $1000 invested in sound system. Due to engine service light, engine will need some work but I am not sure what. Truck does start and run and does not overheat. Local pickup required and full payment due prior to pickup. Due to service engine light, suggest that it is towed on pickup.
