This is a very clean, well maintained vehicle. It has 142,000 miles on it. We just moved to a new Miata and would like to put this one in the hands of someone who appreciates it. We have replaced the struts and springs. The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago, it has about 18,000 miles on it since. At the time the engine was replaced we had all the belts and hoses done, as well as the timing belt, water pump, tune up parts and fluids. The manual transmission was serviced as well as the clutch replaced at the same time. The rear differential was serviced also. The convertible top was replaced 6 months ago with a 2003 top with a glass back window. Everything works well on the car. The body is clean although the clear coat is coming off in a few spots. All of the work was performed by Nortown Automotive in Chicago. Call them and they can give a repair history on the vehicle. Their number is 773-276-9838. We have an extra set of rims and tires as well as a set of snow rims and tires. We also have many extra body and trim components to go with it. This little Palm Beach Country roadster is in good condition for its age but has the usual wear and tear that would be expected on a vehicle with 144,000 miles. Two tone paint (lower half painted black by previous owner in 2014) 217k miles Condition: Interior is very clean, save for the texture wearing off the seats (see pics). Basically what you would expect for a 12 yr old Miata. Paint is in great shape for the age. Cleans up and waxes up great. Minor scuffs and dings (normal for a 12 yr old car). New top fitment is a bit off on the header bow. See pics. I didn't use adhesive on it and I think that would fix it. Fits fine everywhere else. No leaks. Engine runs great, idles great, doesn't burn a measurable amount of oil between 3k mile changes. Minor oil leak from the pan (a drip or two after each drive). I think it needs the gaskets not yet replaced w/T belt (oil pan, oil cooler). Some minor old hail damage that is really only visible when it's super clean and in the sun just right. Wasn't able to capture them (not very noticeable) Panel fitment is a tad off on the front right quarter at the headlight Headlights could stand to be polished Trunk liner is gutted (gone), spare tire, jack and tools are present Sun visors have been removed (and are not included). I have blanking plates, but no screws, I will provide the plates to the buyer. All airbags removed but in good condition. They and the OE steering wheel (rough) will be included with sale. The clutch grabs and doesn't slip- no idea when it was last done. There is some shudder, so it's obviously a bit worn and I would wager will need to be done in the next 25-50k miles. Wheels are in very good shape overall with only minor rash (see pics) The rear "mazda" emblem has lost it's chrome and the center logo is missing from the trunk (see pics). The only thing that doesn't work on the car is the mirror control. Not sure why, I haven't troubleshot it.

2003 Mazda MX-5 Miata shows just 40k miles and is powered by a 1.8 liter twin cam inline-four paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. This unmodified example is equipped with the LS Package, which includes an upgraded stereo, improved interior equipment, and limited slip differential. The factory Appearance Package 1 was also optioned, featuring a front air dam, side skirts, and rear mud guards. The finish is mostly original, though the front bumper was repainted to correct a large chip. Some small imperfections are present in the paintwork that do not show well in photos. Yellowing headlights were polished and clearcoated them to prevent them deteriorating again. NB Miatas received a glass rear window as standard. The top on this car is well fitted and free of leaks. The body kit is in good shape and original wheels appear free of curb rash. This LS package included parchment-colored leather and a Bose stereo system. The seats show little wear and tear, and the carpets are protected by original Miata-branded mats. All interior features work correctly, including the A/C. The 1.8 liter inline-four is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and optional limited slip differential. The engine bay is clean and no modifications are present. Some light surface oxidation is present on control arms, chipped underbody etc, but no serious corrosion or "rust". Clean carfax and ready to enjoy! Feel free to ask me any questions at all. Roll bar, sway bars, extensive body braces, racing suspension, new dual row aluminum radiator (2xs the capacity of stock.), auxiliary gauges, boost, temp, volts and clock. 6 speed manual transmission, limited slip differential, two catch cans, air horn, tinted windows, many more extras. Spare never used, tires have a lot of miles on them, look new. Car is nearly perfect. Top is average, but good. Does not need a new one. This is a fast, exceptionally solid handing car that is race ready if that's what you want or a tremendous road car that is fun to drive. It has a new racing clutch, pressure plate and bearing from FM. Never in a crash, original paint is excellent. Seats and top show a little wear but acceptable. Runs EXTREMELY good and smooth with no unusual squeaks or rattles. This vehicle is very responsive with no unusual noise of any type coming from the engine or transmission. No observed dings. tires are at least 7/32 ICE COLD AIR. EVERYTHING WORKS AS NEW. The vehicle brakes straight with no pulsation or pulling. There is no smoke odor and stills smells new. The interior is immaculate and shows very minor, normal wear on carpet and factory mats. The leather is VERY GOOD COSMETIC CONDITION. Mechanically: During my test drive nothing negative was found to report here. Drove like a brand new MAZDA MIATA Cosmetically: Overall in extremely good cosmetic condition. Always garage kept car.
