This 2004 Mercury Mountaineer Premiuer edition is in amazing condition! You will not find a better SUV at this price! Meticulously maintained and cared for, it pains us to have to give this car up. It's had an oil change every 3k miles, for the last 100k miles! This car will drive in 12" of snow, without getting stuck. It'll handle rain, sleet, ice, sun, children, and pets. This car will entertain your kids without complaints. What did people do before DVD players? This car will get you places. We've taken it all over the northeast, and it's just been an absolute pleasure to own, and we're sure the next owners will enjoy this car as well. A bit of normal wear and tear, but this car is in outstanding condition given it's age. As part of the sale, I will have it professionally cleaned a cost that I will pick up, so that you're getting a super clean and sparkly SUV. Gas Mileage is surprisingly great! You can get from Long Island to Boston on less than a tank, and to DC on 1 tank. Tires on this car are Firestone Destination tires, and are about half way through their life, with plenty of tread left. The car is not due for breaks or rotors for about another year or so, depending on how much you drive it. The entertainment system is incredible! Pop in a DVD, turn the volume up, and it's a portable home theater system. We're also including 2 headphones that sync with the system, so parents up front don't have to hear that same movie over and over and over. There are auxiliary inputs for your iphone, or if you feel really ambitious, you could hook up a video game system. Side Running boards make getting in and out a cinch for the little ones. While we didn't use it often, there's an easily accessible third row seat, big enough for 2 adults, with plenty of foot room and head room. Another great feature you rarely find anymore, is the driver door unlock panel, great if you want to lock the keys in the car and swim in a lake! Get back to the car, enter the 5 digits, and the doors unlock! Not seen on many new SUV's, this one has a rear window liftgate, which makes packing the car with groceries super easy! Interior of the car was babied. Excellent running condition. No check engine lights. No stories. No ABS lights. Clean title in hand.I have this car priced out CHEAP but don't make any mistake. This is a very nice, clean car.No accident history. No stories. Current on inspection and registration. All tags current.Good tires. No mechanical problems. The passenger side rear fender has some light rust on it. Nothing bad at all if it's a big deal we can repair it for around $200 for you. This is a car you can be proud of. Very nice, clean vehicle. 2004 Mercury Mountaineer Premier AWD Very Nice Condition. Runs/drives great, cold A/C. Awesome handling, very easy to drive, factory towing package (class 2 hitch, receiver not incl.) allows towing up to 5500lbs. 107K LOW miles. 4.0L V6, flex fuel, automatic w/OD control. Dual power/heated leather seats with dual seat memory, power sunroof, power windows, door locks, mirrors, cruise, tilt, traction control, keypad entry +2 fobs. Rear A/C, 3rd row, privacy glass, 7 passenger, multi position cargo areas... dual rear gate, sporty wheels, good tread, and more! Comes with all the vehicle manuals with instructions to change the entry/lock passcode. Great comfortable vehicle that can do it all! There are a few issues I'd like to mention, the price has been reduced greatly to compensate... it has a couple of touched up scratches on the rear quarter panels (minor damage more pics available) and a few car door dings (how can you avoid those?). The center panel on the back of the door has a manufacturer defect crack (like 99% of the Mountaineers and Explorers have). CD player isn't working, maybe easy fix, Stereo with equalizer sounds great, even with the driver door speaker not working properly, maybe a wire vibrated off and the volume control knob will blast the volume if turned. It has all the controls on the steering wheel that work perfectly. Rear Passenger window has an intermittent working issue.. it is currently working, but sometimes doesn't. Hit the panel, and it works. Visors need outer holding clips. This SUV is still a beauty! A Must see. Motivated to sell, drive it home today, clear title, good tires (5/32 of tread left) last oil change at 103,366 miles.will need an oil change in about 1,000 miles.
