Over the past few model updates, the 5 Series has received larger door pockets and more storage capacity in the center console. Power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, auxiliary input for MP3 player, push-button start, Navigation system with iDrive and heated seats are installed. The 528i received a new engine in 2008 borrowed from the 3 Series. 230-hp, 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 200 pounds-feet of torque, six-speed automatic tansmission and All-wheel drive. REASON FOR REBUILT TITLENow for the history of this car, we bought this car from Insurance Company with damage to the front of the car; however, it didn't have enough damage to be considered a salvage title. The car has no frame damage. The front Reinforcement bar was never damaged. The only reason the insurance company totaled the car was due to the driver airbag being deployed. We replaced the hood, the passenger side headlight, driver airbag, and bumper. The engine and transmission were never damaged. All the damaged components were replaced with original BMW parts with factory specifications. Everything was repaired professionally with experienced body men and painters who have worked with high end cars like Maserati, Mercedes, BMW, etc.All damaged parts were replaced with original factory parts. Repairs were done with professional painters and body man with extensive experience in foreign cars. This car came out like it never had any damage; repairs done to this car were to factory specifications, so you will not be able to tell if an accident had occurred. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. REASON FOR REBUILT TITLE Now for the history of this car, we bought this car from Insurance Company with damage to the Left Rear Quarter Panel the car didn't even have enough damage to be considered a salvage title. The Left side tail light was replaced The car had no Airbag Deployment. The engine and transmission were never damaged. All the damaged components were replaced with original Mercedes parts with factory specifications. Also, the left rear rim was replaced and two of the control arms. Everything was repaired professionally with experienced body men and painters who have worked with high end cars like Maserati, Mercedes, BMW, etc. All damaged parts were replaced with original factory parts. Repairs were done with professional painters and body man with extensive experience in foreign cars. This car came out like it never had any damage; repairs done to this car were to factory specifications, so you will not be able to tell if an accident had occurred.
