It would be a long journey for the Roberts Family before they would end up at their current location in Columbia, TN. Starting in 1945; Mr. Clyde Roberts began the family business by opening a Mobil Service Station & Garage with his sons Lyndal and Bay on the corner of West Commerce and Third Avenue in Lewisburg, TN (shown below).   Shortly after the opening of the garage, Lyndal left the business to pursue other ventures. During the years of 1950-1955 the Roberts father-son team along with Stanley Thompson formed a used car business next to the old Baxter Garage on First Avenue in Lewisburg, TN. Just three years after moving to 2nd Avenue, the Roberts family moved their business to 920 Verona Avenue (shown below).
