This is one of those trucks you just never know if your going to run across another nicer than this . No leaks no drips or hidden surprises ,anything that ever needed done got done plus more . Almost everything on this truck is brand new , the 390 motor was rebuilt 15,000 miles ago and runs flawless with power that makes it a kick in the pants to drive. This is one of the funnest trucks you will drive and people dig it thumbs up everywhere you go . It also has power steering and power brakes that are right on the money. Also has new windshield and rear window which opens up with a slider plus new seals front and back , New power steering pump, new hubs , all guages work . Its also got brand new wheels and tires that where over $1600 with paper work , and anything that needed repaired on suspension got done which totaled over $1300 and I also have paper work for that . Has headers and dual exhaust coming out the back that sound great. 2 new radiator fans have been added for extra cooling if you need them while your running the A/C that sit in front of the radiator that are controlled by the flip of a switch on the dash , the truck runs super cool so I doubt you will ever need them , but for reasurance it makes it nice. Also dual shocks have been added to the front , and oversprings have been added on the back , so this thing can tow whatever you need. Nothing has been spared on this build and tons have been added . It is as old as me and so far we are both holding up well, both with a more than a few scratches to show we did it and can do it again.I found it out west and purchased it from the 2nd owner. 71,000 original miles. Really must see for yourself, but pics are best I can do here. It has been a reliable dependable truck used almost daily for the last 6 months. Explorer package, a/c, 390 automatic c6 and 9". Very clean body. small rust spots over the rear fenders, and one spot on driver cab corner. The underside is clean. Original paint! New shocks & brakes, plugs wires ect in the fall.The bad: but needs a master cylinder, the windshield has a crack, the radio does not work. and it drips a lil trans fluid. It still stops I have just not had time to give it. I will drive it as is, let my car/truck buddys drive it as is, I would not drive it a long distance this way. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 38 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. 1968 F100 Custom Cab Longbed A/T 2 WD Automatic, formerly a manual. Steering column was swapped from a '72, from what the former owner tells me. Truck runs and drives. I had my mechanic adjust the points, so it's running better now. Body is fairly clean and straight. Has a few dents and areas of surface rust. All glass is good. No chips or cracks. No radio. 93,551 miles. Unknown if this is original mileage. Parts that are missing or need attention: Missing mirrors on driver and passenger doors. Drivers door arm rest is missing. Passenger door arm rest is damaged. Seat is damaged. Leaf springs are out of alignment on both sides. It was this way when I got it and have not further investigated why it's doing that. Headliner is starting to pull away from the roof. Rear bumper is missing. Rear wheel cylinder is leaking. This is not necessarily an all inclusive list. Just items I have noticed.
