This is a original rust free California car and has always been stored indoors. The paint and interior both look fantastic. Truly a must see to fully appreciate. This is a unmolested original and stock and has always been maturely owned. Originally a tow vehicle so a good 1/2 of the miles are because the previous owners had flat towed it behind there motorhome all over California on numerous road trips. Comes equipped with a very high end tow bar so this is ready to go . Hook it up behind your truck or R.v and take it with you anywhere. Mechanically sound and is something you can drive anywhere with absolute peace of mind. No leaks or anything I can address what so ever . Was always dealer maintained with no expense spared . Looking to run into and over things and not worry. This is the truck for you!Driven daily, this truck is a 1987 suzuki samurai with original gray paint! Professionally installed VW 1.6l td by a ASE master mechanic. This engine is a factory german VW Golf GTD with upgrades, Garrett T2 turbo with water pump and blackstone intercooler. The turbo water pump works when the engine is turned off (similar to a turbo timer), it circulates coolant into the turbo after a long drive desirable for reliability and longevity. The 1.6td is know to be the most reliable vw diesel engine, perfect power to weight ratio. This build is completely thought out, countless hours of research and fabrication went into this build. Complete Acme adapters conversion kit including the cooling system kit so it was done right. It has every part that Acme sells for the conversion kit plus extras. Engine was bought from Quality German Auto Parts engine importer with 60k miles on the engine (Hand picked at the warehouse with the owner). Installed in the truck when it had 80k miles, currently the engine now has around 85k miles on it. This truck hauls and it's a blast to drive! Daily driven and always garaged. Rust free sold body and frame, CALIFORNIA truck since '87. It has a diesel smog certificate and exemption sticker which makes this truck smog exempt for life in california. This engine is capable of running on alternative fuels with a preheater kit as well. It currently gets around 40-45 mpg with diesel. Watch the videos below, starts right up, ready to go anywhere. 87 Samurai lifted 11 inches with spring over swap 2.5 inch leafs and shackles. Rebuilt 1.3 liter with weber carb and long tube header. 5 speed manual with 6.5:1 transfer case that has 2 hi/low and 4 hi/low. Tube transfer case crossmember. Front axle has axle truss welded on and I have one for the rear that needs welded on. Also a welded rear carrier that will go with, currently open diff. Has newer 33 inch super swamper boggers. Not currently street legal but I have everything needed to make it legal. Needs taillights and turn signals. I have a front axle rebuild kit new in box and brand new in box mile markers hubs. 2 sets of brand new rear shocks, stock style and rancho. Has welded on shock hoops for longer shocks in the front with brand new rancho shocks and a new steering stabilizer. Just ordered a new soft top for it that will come with. Should be delivered this week. No back seat. Lots of extra parts. Stock carb, stock transfer case, ect. This thing will go anywhere you want it to.
