I am selling a 1998 Silverado 3500 4x4. It has the 350 5.7 Engine. This truck runs and drives great. I dont drive this truck since I have a company truck provided to me. In the last 5 months I put about 50 miles on it. So i am no longer driving it and its to good of a truck to be sitting. The body on this truck is rough. Its cab corners are rotting out. The seats are warn out and have chunks missing out of it. There are seat covers to help hide that. The engine does not tick or knock like common Chevy 350's. The alternator which charges 100% has a ticking sound in it thats been there for a long time. I took the belt off and the ticking goes away. I use a stethoscope on the alt and you can hear it. It does not affect charging. I have personally put 5k miles on this and both gave it 2 oil changes. I used Quaker state 4x4 High mileage oil. It could use another oil change in about 1k miles. I am trying be as detailed about the vehicle as I can be. She is a good truck. I would still be driving it if I didn't have a company vehicle. Good work Truck. This is a one owner truck. It’s never been stolen or in an accident. I bought it new in ’93 and even have the original window sticker. It’s undergone a complete frame off / rotisserie rebuild. Just about everything is new again and coated to last a long time. EVERYTHING was professionally rebuilt along with many upgrades including--- All urethane suspension and body bushings, Stainless brake and fuel lines, Heavy duty rear posi, Urethane bed liner, Custom full length headers and 3” H-pipe exhaust, 5 leaf rear springs, and a fully blueprinted AND balanced corvette L98 based 383 roller motor. The truck was professionally dyno tuned (I have the dyno sheet) and makes 70hp and 55 ftlb MORE than the 454ss truck! It runs real strong and clean. With an aluminum head small block, it handles surprisingly well for a pick-up truck, gets decent MPG and is a blast to drive. The truck has no known issues and everything works as it should. Not even a drip under it. It runs, looks and drives great. It was professionally built, not a quick plop a motor in it and drive it job. It’s about as close to a brand new truck as you can get. It’s tame enough to be a nice daily driver but powerful enough to have lots o’ fun with. Runs on pump gas, doesn’t overheat or any other troubles. It has about 5500 super fun miles since the build. I always get compliments on it. I'd keep it but I could use the parking space and pay some bills. This truck is done just like the factory would (should) have done. Yes, you can fly in and drive it home if you want. It's a reliable and fun truck. It’d be really hard to find another that’s put together this nice and this clean underneath!
