I'm selling a 2008 Acura TL Type-S. Car is very beautiful in and out. All service has been done. Transmission, engine, radiator fluid and air filter has been changed just now. Timing belt was changed at 80,000 miles. Brand new tires (see the picture). Front and rear bumper has some scratches. All around, the car is in very good condition for that many miles. Car is ready to go and nothing is needed to be done except be driving. Includes all season floor mats and trunk tray. Has all manuals/books and 2 keys. 2003 Acura tl type s.car has 88,000 miles. From Florida, just came up from Florida a month ago. Never seen salt or snow! So obviously no rust, not even underneath on a bolt! Body is super clean. no rust, dents or major scratches. ! Interior is clean. Ac blows cold. All options work. pwr windows, locks, tilt, cruise, moonroof, heated leather seats, multi disc cd player and much more runs and drives perfect! Smooth, quite and rides very nice. Car has super low miles and from the south...so no rust! Just has the airbag recall performed at Acura. Also just had the transmission recall done, Acura installed a brand new OEM transmission assembly. brakes are 70% remaining. Tired are at 7/32 . No oil leaks, no coolant leaks. Needs nothing! Body is incredible shape. Won't find a cleaner car in Ohio! Again never seen snow! With 88,000 miles! car has a rebuilt tittle. from best I can tell was in an accident in 2013. air bags didn't deploy as I had acura check air bag serial numbers when they did the recall, they are the same bags registered to this car when sold new in 2003. looks like a hood and right fender and im guessing bumper and light was replaced. I know florida is strick on fixing wrecked cars over 8 years old. and with one headlight new being $2000 to replace, wouldn't take but a few parts to get the value to hi for an insurance company to repair

This is a Beautiful 2008 Acura TL Type-S with a hard-to-come-by 6-Speed manual transmission. Type-S 3G TLs were only made for 2 years. This is the last year. They were quite different from regular TLs. 3.5L V6 engine - Sport Suspension - Red Interior Lighting to name a few differences. This one only has 62,044 miles on it. Car is in excellent condition. Only flaws are exterior. Interior is MINT, still smells like new. Vehicle is 100% Mechanically sound. Everything works like new. Nothing leaks in or out of this car. I bought this car from Radley Acura in VA back in May of 2014 with 52K on it. They were the original seller and servicer of the car. Since then, I've done all the maintenance work on it. I am the second owner. I've changed the oil 3 times since I've had it, always with Synthetic-Blend 5W-20 using a new Honda Drain Plug gasket and K&N Oil Filters (still have a few - will give them with car) Transmission has GM SyncroMesh II Fluid in it. Tires are at 9/32" all the way around. Michelin up front - Sumitomo in the back. Wheels have no flaws at all. Interior is flawless as well besides some light wear on Driver's seat. I drove this car from PA to FL a few months back and now the front bumper has rock chips in it, not to mention some damage from the previous owner's front license plate bracket. Car is 100% stock - unmodified. This Acura has beautiful Nighthawk Black Pearl paint - but I can't say its flawless. It's not faded or oxidized at all - but there are light scratches here and there. Front bumper is the worst of it. Car has Navigation - HandsFreeLink Bluetooth - Back-Up Camera- 6 Disc Cd Changer that also plays DVD-Audio - no blown speakers - XM Radio and AUX input. You are bidding on an awesome 2006 Acura TL 6-Speed with roughly 106,000 miles on it.This is a one owner car, has been exceptionally well maintained, always garage kept and comes with all maintenance records since new, the 3 original keys and two key-fobs, it’s original window sticker, owner’s manual etc. all as shown in the photos. The car is accident free and has all original paint. The owner loves the car but decided to change to a four-wheel drive SUV to better cope with the Pennsylvania winter conditions in the snow belt and a long, rural drive-way that is often not plowed.This is the predecessor to the TL-Type S. It has a six speed manual transmission, the desirable and ultra-reliable and ultra-smooth 258hp 3.2 liter 24 Valve VTEC V6 engine, limited slip differential, 4-wheel disk brakes with huge factory 4 piston-caliper front brakes, Bluetooth with factory hands free interface, Power Moon-roof, Xenon HID headlights, it’s original ELS 8 speaker Sound system with DVD-A, 6 CD/Cassette stereo system, cruise control, leather, heated power seats and of course power windows and locks etc.It comes with two sets of wheels. It’s Michelin tires on its original wheels are mostly worn and will need replaced soon. A second set of wheels comes with the car with almost new Michelin X-Ice winter tires that were purchased last winter and all have 7/32 or more thread remaining. The second set of wheels does not feature tire pressure sensors. If desired, we can gladly mount the Michelin winter tires onto the original wheels with tire pressure sensors.The car has been a very reliable car since new and has been owned by an older gentleman, it has never been abused and has been well taken care off with very regular oil changes with premium oils throughout its life. The car has a current PA inspection valid until 6 of 2017.The car has been fully serviced and we at Thoroughbred Motorsports LLC in Corry, PA just performed the full 105,000 mile service including: new timing belt and rollers, new water pump, new thermostat, new spark plugs, new serpentine belt plus some marginal suspension bushings have been replaced, as well as oil and filter changed, of course with fully synthetic oil. Some say the timing belt service is not due until 120,000 miles, and they are correct. In some service bulletins it recommends to do the full timing belt service at 105,000 miles, so we did. However, everything we took out still looked fantastic and would have easily lasted another 20,000 miles, but of course for peace of mind we replaced everything so the car is ready to go for the next 100,000 miles.The interior is in excellent condition, all seats are without any tears, no cracks in the dash, the heated sport-seats have typical leather patina with the grain structure showing in some areas and all seams and stitching in tact.The car has been extremely reliable and though the 106,000 miles it has only had a couple of minor problems throughout its life: It had developed a starting problem and a main module plus the starter were replaced by the local Acura dealer, as well as the battery was replaced. Also the rear brakes, rear emergency brakes and cables have been changed due to stickiness. All repair receipts come with the car as shown. The car has been extremely reliable and problem free throughout the first 10 years of its life and it is a truly fantastic car.As the photos show the car looks fantastic. It has some patina, such as some very small scratches and nicks, one very small crease right behind one of the rear wheels as all shown in the photos. It has one very small stone chip in the front windshield, barely noticeable. The driver’s side rear view mirror shows some edge discoloring as shown in one of the photos. Overall, a very presentable, very well maintained car. Buyer is responsible for picking up car or shipping. $1,000 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end, remainder due within 10 days.Note, we are a Porsche restoration shop, Thoroughbred Motorsports LLC in Corry, PA. Following established Acura/Honda marketing practices, instead of starting with a low stripper base-model price, then offering a broad array of extra-cost additional features, Acura offers fully equipped cars packed with all the most attractive features. Our 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD Advance test car was a perfect example. It contained all the basic equipment, plus the bundled Tech Package and Advance Package, for just a tick below $46,000. And as we got to know the TL, we discovered it had the crisp precision of a medical instrument. Like a medical instrument, however, for some, this car will feel a little short on the automotive abstracts, verve, charisma, charm. It is superbly engineered, and when driven hard, it will accomplish a great deal. Yet some TL competitors, the BMW 3 Series and 5 Series, Audi A4 and A6, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Class, effortlessly elicit a warm smile. But the TL styling, which is to some, awkward and heavy-handed, will command little more than a short nod. The two stainless-steel, upturned slabs of stainless steel above the grille, matched by similar shapes at the rear, define the car's identity at even great distance. And the wheel arches, flared aggressively to enclose wide P245 tires (on 17-, 18- or 19-inch wheels, depending on the configuration selected) are radiused and knife-edged. They lack the rounded, muscular dynamism seen in some of their competition. The exterior styling is angular rather than flowing, a characteristic many will love, but not everyone. On the positive side, in profile, the forward-thrusting stance of the TL is athletic and very much in keeping with this performance sedan's personality. Headlight and taillight arrays wrap around the edges of the nose and tail dynamically. Xenon low-beam headlights are accompanied by halogen high beams, which serve as daytime running lights, operating at a lower voltage. The new lower front fascia contains revised fog lamps. Handsome five- or seven-spoke alloy wheels in various sizes are available. Twin-layer windshield glass and extra-thick side and rear windows are acoustically tuned to reduce wind noise. The gear selector is a simple PRNDS, with no sidetrack for making individual +/- gear selections. To the contrary, as you get under way, a simple flip of the paddle shifters automatically overrides the usual automatic-transmission shift map, immediately giving you the gear you need. That is as it should be in a performance sedan. Throttle response is immediate and forceful. At normal cruising throttle, the drivetrain is pleasantly quiet, but the minute you tromp down on the throttle, you're reminded that this car is determined, if you are, to go very fast. Snugly tucked into the well-fitted seat, feeling very much in control, it's natural to exercise this engine, transmission and suspension vigorously. And the more you do so, the more clearly you recognize that wringing out this agile and powerful car might best be done on a racetrack. Acura claims an extremely grippy 0.97g of lateral acceleration on the skidpad, and in real-world driving, the TL's cornering force and stability are impressive. The big plus of our test TL was its brand-new and oddly named SH-AWD, which stands for the gee-whiz-sounding Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. We had occasion to test the Acura in some raw early-spring Northeast inclemency, a mix of rain and sleet that didn't test the system's hard-core snow-handling capability but nonetheless proved beyond doubt its high competence in similarly demanding conditions. Acura is proud not only of the system's snow traction but of its all-wheel-drive system's vector-guiding directional stability in any kind of slide-inducing conditions. Driven up to the limit on wet, slippery roads, the SH-AWD guided us with confidence-inspiring surefootedness. The system automatically delivers power to whichever wheel can help most in delivering control and driving the TL forward on its course. This Super Handling drive system is so good that it's tempting to begin thinking you're some kind of foul-weather driving phenomenon. The phenomenon isn't you; it's SH-AWD. The other standout quality of the Acura TL is its firm, excellent steering feel. It allows you to accurately feel everything that's happening on the road during hard driving. Yet it also lets you drive comfortably at more relaxed speeds, keeping you properly informed whenever something on the road surface demands closer attention. First class. The sharpened feel of the TL's steering and its alert ride, however, have a consequence that's not quite as happy. The TL ride is tuned to give the driver all necessary road information, and provided the road you're on is in the Sun Belt and billiard-table smooth, the news is all good. Driven on rougher roads caused by winter and frost heaves, however, the TL's ride is sharp and choppy. Conceding Acura's unquestioned ability to produce a superb-handling sporty sedan, the TL misses the real-world ride-quality compromise that will be best for many wintery parts of the U.S. This is in the purist sense an agile, fine-handling car, perhaps just a hair too fine. It could prophet from a little of the Europeans' finely calculated ride compliance; everyone, even the best of us, comes upon a rough road from time to time. As a near-luxury performance sedan, the Acura TL is well priced and inviting. Its engineering is excellent, and the experience of driving it is very good. But if all-wheel-drive peak performance is the buyer's motive, for only about $5000 more than our test SH-AWD Advance, an Audi S4 sedan, the definitive performance sedan, delivers the kind of visceral brilliance the Acura only hints at. That is another way of saying, the TL is properly priced. If getting a lot for less money is the measure, the Acura will continue to attract masses of buyers. It is a quality sedan of very great capabilities, delivering that little bit extra many buyers crave. And with good EPA figures of 18/26 mpg (the Audi S4 gets 18/27 mpg), our test car is well situated in the market during a time of rising fuel prices. As a smallish near-luxury sedan, the rear compartment is compact without being downright small. An available pass-through for skis behind the fold-down armrest is lockable for security. Rear headroom tapers downward quickly, following the sleek downward curve of the roofline. Handsome titanium-looking trim accents the doors and dashboard. The left side of the steering-wheel hub contains controls for the audio and phone with voice activation. On the right of the hub are controls for the cruise control and info panel, the latter displayed between the speedometer and tachometer. And as expected in a luxury Acura, the switchgear are handsome and of excellent quality. The key instruments, speedometer, tachometer, water temperature and fuel gauge, are on the small side but adequate and easily read. On the center stack at the top is the medium-sized display screen. It has been well shielded against daylight glare. Moving down the stack, the audio controls are next, and below these are the dual-zone climate controls. At the bottom are the navigation and connectivity controls. The nav is no-tricks simple and easy to use, with a straightforward top-view map. The screen can also be used to deliver full information about XM/Sirius or other audio programming being used, and real-time traffic and weather data can also be displayed. The front compartment is comfortable without being huge, and the richness of the colored leather contributes to a feeling of snugness. The seats are snug without feeling constricting. We found they hold you firmly in position and promote fully alert driving. Hot and cool seat controls for the front seats are on the center console. Concealed in the front elbow rest compartment is a power outlet. And in the glovebox is a keyless-access control switches off the remote system for both the cabin and the trunk. The Acura TL SH-AWD Advance we drove is by its own lights a near-luxury performance sedan, which is reflected in its attractive pricing. You begin seeing the tiny telltales of this car's modesty the moment you adjust your seat. It has only two driver's-seat memory settings, whereas the competition a few thousand dollars up the ladder commonly provides three memory settings. Interior is spotless. Ac blows cold. All options work. Runs and drives perfect! Smooth, quite and rides very nice. Car has super low miles and from the south...so no rust! Just has the airbag recall performed at Acura. Also just had the transmission recall done, Acura installed a brand new OEM transmission assembly. brakes are 70% remaining. Tired are at 7/32. The motor has low miles and is very reliable, starts every time, doesn't burn oil, no smoke or idle issues, and pulls harder than any Honda I’ve driven. The full car harness was originally converted to a 2002 Acura TL automatic. The motor was later upgraded to a 2002 TL Type-S motor. The issue is this vehicle has an automatic ECU on a 2003 V6 Accord 6-speed transmission. The ECU thinks the vehicle is in neutral and will not engage the VTEC or reserve lock-out. I cannot change the ECU without having it chipped to bypass the factory ignition immobilizer. These issues can be correctly easily with the AEM ECU, or CL Type-S ECU and manual motor harness. If VTEC is not a big deal, than this car is ready to go! Haha. I do not have time or desire to complete this vehicle, and would like to pass it to someone with the excitement for unique Hondas. I am currently in school full time, and work full time on top of building two other cars; my loss is your gain. This car is truly in great condition, and about 95% complete.
