Hi I am posting my 1992 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce that I recently purchased through our business(it was offered on an on line dealer auction). The Alfa was intended for personal use, but my circumstances changed. Anyway, this one is an original California car and had only 2 owners, and the miles are actual, car fax confirmed. If you want to know what a rust free original car looks like, here is your chance. The only thing on this car that is not original is the paint, which is shiny and nice. The interior and top and the mechanicals are all originalThe dash is ultra nice with no cracks, the instruments all work and the odometer digits are straight as arrow(hinting no tampering). She had recently received a brand new Sachs clutch set. This Is the first Alfa I have driven that you can actually shift into second gear without any fuss. The AC works and blows cold and is converted to R134. The top and the plastic window are excellent. She runs very nice and drives straight. The windows work the way they should and are not slow like sooo many other ones. The original spare is in the trunk, along with the owners manual. The faults are not many and not significant, and include:The front tires are new but are different brand from the rears.The Tonneau cover is missing. The seats are original but the bolsters shows some lines, and show signs of age, but look very nice. There is a crack in the carpet in the driver footwell, but is not easily visible. All the carpets are really nice and look that way. All In all you would be really hard pressed to find a nicer one, a really true and clean car, one that offers all the fun and flare of driving an Alfa Spider but without any thing to worry about. Please bid confidently as I have a very reasonable reserve, and please bid only if you are interested in purchasing, and let us keep e.bay clean and clutter free, it is for our own benefit. 1977 Alfa Romeo Alfetta Berlina GTV Car was originally a blue car that is now red, there are some paint blems but it has good shine and no major body damage, there is some rust in the lower front lower fenders and in the rear cargo hatch pillar as seen in the photos. The trim is complete and in good condition as well as the glass throughout the car. Good tires on the factory wheels. Interior is original and as you can see needs to be restored or of course you can keep the way it is, the leather seats have splits, dash is cracked, no radio, no speakers, some buttons such as the hazards are broken. This is the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder motor starts right up, shifts well, brakes work decent but should be looked over before a journey is taken as this car has not been driven for a while. This is a complete car, running and driving, A California car with the same owner since 2005. Clean California Title in hand Compression on motor is 155- 160 across the board. Also comes with California Smog inspection for transfer of ownership in State of CA. I just purchased this car last month from the seller on Ebay who owns a classic car lot in Los Angeles. Very helpful and man of his word; he was selling for his client that had owned since 2005. Car starts up and drives but of course is a 40 year old car; please review pictures. I felt I stole it from him as the bidding didn't get to what I had expected as he had listed locally on Craigslist for $7500. It runs and has 2 sets of original keys. Its in great original shape. The catalytic convertor is clogged and the key is sticky. I can drive it around but not for long. the old guy told me not to because the cat heats up quick. It sounds like a submarine right now. The car revs right up and is smooth though. The panel lines up great and all of the doors, hood and trunk all open and shut with ease and have a solid feel. The body is very straight and "flat" with little if any waves. This car was painted several years ago and still looks really nice. You could take this to a weekend show or use it as a daily driver. When the car was painted it was done properly and the glass was removed and seals etc... The bottom side of the car is quite remarkable. I have found no evidence of floor pan replacement and the floor pans are rust free. The only part that appears to have been patched is the spare tire well (very common as there wasn't sufficent drainage in the spare tire well) The car really has a great look with its beautiful classic Italian body and gorgeous true freshly polished Minilite alloy wheels wrapped in brand new tires. The stainless steel bumpers have been polished and the chrome finish on the grill is like new! Also the badges on the C pilar are brand new as well. I bought this car to restore it but numerous side projects and planning for my wedding coming up takes up too much time and so Id like to pass her on to someone with a true love for these beauties who has the time for her. This car is a great restoration project. Good condition, few nicks and chips in the paint-- can be touched up, no rust or structural damage, rear bumper has been replaced with bumper from earlier Alfa Spider model (chrome), looks better IMO. Leaks a few drops of oil here and there from the lower oil pan gasket. This is an easy/cheap fix. This is the first fuel injected alfa spider. It uses the Spica mechanical fuel injection which was rebuilt by the previous owner and works well. There is a fuel pressure regulator and the idle does need to be adjusted as it seems like it gives the engine too much gas when starting.
